This restaurant was near our hotel in Hanoi but we didn't discover it until our last day...too bad! The food was quite good for our lunch meal and we enjoyed the service with a smile from a young woman who communicated well with us in English.

I could not have loved this meal more. We arrived to a warm welcome and ordered a bottle of prosecco and an array of starters and mains. The service was impeccable throughout and it was one of the tastiest meals Iâve ever had. For 3 starters, 3 mains and a lovely bottle of prosecco, it came to just over £75 which for the quality, was great value. The waitress also had some great tips of places to go and things to do in the area which was much appreciated. I had a smashed avo toast with hashbrown and poached eggs while my girlfriend had french toast with ice cream topping and fruits and WOW we couldnât have asked for better, we spent 200k for everything and the portion was fairly big. Definitely going to come back here !

First night in Hanoi as a vegetarian and I was concerned/very hungry. This place was a saviour. Menus very clear and in English. Prices were very reasonable, we had a meal for 2 drinks and all for £7 - and that was us being indulgent! Sandwiches are very big and filling. Sides were nice but not even necessary. Nice and breezy outdoor seats and in the old district. If you're a vegetarian or vegan eat here you won't be disappointed or out of pocket. Staff were also very lovely. No faults at all.

I needed something other than Pho (which I love) for breakfast and I had a less adventurous friend with me so this place seemed perfect. The menu descriptions for breakfast seemed a bit pedestrian but surprised us. I am a trained bakery snob and have searched over a dozen âFrenchâ style bakeries in my past few trips to Hanoi and theirs is now by far my favorite croissant. I got the combo breakfast which included tea and a fruit course after my âscrambled eggs with dark breadâ. We sat at the stools in the front window and observed the staff moving efficiently and engaging gently with every client in there. The manager(?) Hieu seems to be an exceptional employee and certainly represents his company well. He is a great communicator, telling us it would be approximately 15 minutes although it did not take that long. They fix the food in the attached luxury hotel. The âscrambled eggsâ were the lightest and most fluffy eggs ever to pass my lips. Bacon was nice and thick and not greasy, definitely a superior grade. The house-made bread made a perfect platform for the eggs but stayed crispy. Yummy grilled tomatoes had Italian mozzarella; I asked because this is not a city known for cheese and Hieu quickly knew the answer. The fruit course had a nice variety to include passion fruit and dragon fruit with others. The entire interaction from top to bottom was delightful and they make you feel comfortable. A beautiful, cosy quiet haven in the heart of the Old Quarter. I found myself here most days having beautiful Vietnamese salads for lunch. Green mango salad with pork and prawns sustains me for $4.20 AUD.The dressings are exceptional. The Cha Ca is as good as any in Hanoi (I've visited four times over six years). At excellent Koto where it also comes as make your own fresh rolls, they use fish cakes and here it is whole pieces of fish. The staff could not be more lovely or helpful, offering ideas for Hanoi and food ideas throughout Vietnam. Seriously, I was so tired on my first night I got lost looking for them. When I found my way back to my hotel they sent a staff member round to c collect me.Say hello to the wonderful Luyen, Phoung and Duc.Dear Customer!
