Back in February, this year, me and my wife came to Akira Back restaurant on Valentine's day. We had a very happy dinner together with great foods prepared by the Chefs. Especially, we were very impressed with the good services by Loan, Khue and Elsa. Especially Loan, she noticed that my wife had pregnancy at that time, and when the door on the other side was open and outside was very windy. She noticed the wind come inside the dining area and she asked her colleague to close the door asap so my wife will not get cold. We appreciated her kindness and also the team's services were excellent for me and my wife on that day! Not sure what we did to offend the waiter - can only assume it was because we had young kids - but were given no respect or attention from the moment we walked in the door. A couple walked in after us and yet he rushed them to their seats and had them positioned with drinks before he had even thought about dropping the menus on us unceremoniously. Restaurant wasn't even busy.

We came here after reading the reviews on tripadvisor but unfortunately for us the experience was not spectacular at all. The view was nice indeed, the place looks good, the serving was ok. The food was expensive compared to other places. So not a good value for money. Also the cocktail was ok, not spectacular. I had a pina colada which was good, but not as good as i was expecting after reading the reviews, not sure if it had coconut cream, also it was not blended.

The restaurant was a little bit hard to find. You have to walk through this tunnel to get there. Itâs right in the middle of everything and next to the beautiful lake. Great and peaceful place to stop in the middle of sightseeing.The price point is a bit much for Vietnam but totally worth it! You get to choose plenty of toppings and the bowl is large! And not to mention DELICIOUS! Would definitely recommend.
