Manoir du Parc is an establishment Adults only. At the heart of Amboise, between the Chateau and the Clos Luce, Gaelle and Bruno welcome you in a wooded setting. We offer rooms, wodden cabane with private Jacuzzi in the Park with Private Pool, Studios, wodden cabans and Cottages with private Jacuzzi and sauna. The Park and the heated swimming pool (in season) will offer special moments of relaxation. Free Wi-Fi, Free private Parking - Restaurant within a 3 minute walk.
Great Stay at Manoir du Parc!
Reviewed By aprillove1625This place was great! The location was awesome and it really only does take 5 mins to walk to the main area of town where the Chateau and restaurants and bars are located. We checked in around 430 with no issues. I didn’t get the woman’s name that checked us in but she was very friendly and helpful. She did speak English so that was a relief! There were 3 of us so we had an apartment that isn’t attached to the main house. The beds were comfortable and the kitchenette was equipped with dishes, microwave, sink and fridge. Very clean. There is free off street parking also a big bonus, in my opinion. Also a pool that looked nice but we just didn’t have time to enjoy it. We ordered breakfast the first morning and it was a basket of baguette, chocolate and plain croissants, OJ, coffee, butter and assorted jams. It was really good. You just have to let her know the day before if you want to order that. It is not included in the room price. The WiFi worked well the first night but wasn’t great the other two nights but we’ve come to expect that when staying in hotels in the US and abroad so nothing to complain about. I would recommend and will definitely stay here again if I get to visit Amboise in the future.

Expensive and disappointing, but lovely location.

However the hotel is expensive for what it offers. 119Euros gave me a room 3.5 x 3.5m with a view of a building in construction. The heating did not work and the duvet was too thin, the windows were single glazed, a large fan suggests the room is too hot in summer, the minibar was empty and the single glazed windows if opened admitted clouds of midges. Fortunately I had bought my own duvet and thanks to this enjoyed a good sleep till woken by the noise of the reception, the room being adjacent to the receptionist’s desk. The breakfast (9.50Eur) seemed reasonable value but when I went in at 0830 the room was full and the food had all been eaten. However when I returned later this had been replenished. In general this is a poorly managed hotel but with better management and substantial investment it could be wonderful. At present I recommend avoiding it but the other reviews suggest that my opinion is a minority one.

Maybe the road could get noisy in peak season but the overall Experience is really positive. Very friendly and helpful owner and staff.

History in a beautiful setting
Reviewed By cat0007Stephane has captured the perfect balance of mixing the Past so you can bring yourself back in time ..example the absolutely beautiful bedrooms to the new ..the bathrooms where in both you will lack for nothing ..Everything is there that you could possibly need ..even a mini fridge..bathrobes and slippers ..the rooms are meticulous and clean ..the maids did a great job and are quite nice ..I love to swim and the indoor pool is beautiful ..where it is located is a surprise ..steeped in a time of wine .. The Château is magnificent . I Love to study History ..I was very Excited and Happy to be going to such a Historical place ..never have I related so much to Julie Andrews from the movie the sound of music ..just amusing things on about 7 different occasions..one while walking alone at fountain. anyways when I walked the grounds ,gardens , and stopped to look at the Wonderful Trees and architecture I would remember the history I had read about and in that moment was able to go back in time to that time and place and imagine the way it was back then and the people that once lived here and life as they knew it Stephane is undoubtedly the nicest kindest and most thoughtful host you could wish for …you don’t have to be into history as I am to enjoy it here ..this is an outstanding place on every level and the hospitality here makes you feel so good and welcome…especially if you’re from another country …you really are made to feel at home here ..comfortable secure ..and you’re made to feel all are very happy to have you as a guest ..I could not have been made to feel more welcome or better ..thank -you so much and Stephane is a superb host that will make everyone who visits happy I highly recommend this Castle/Chateau to visit …5 stars on every level. Thank-you Stephane for everything.

Once in a lifetime stay in a cave bed and breakfast!

Loved our stay. Restaurant has a limited menu which was a shame or we would have eaten in there more often. The girls in the restaurant and reception were friendly. Loches is such a pretty medieval town. The weekly market was nice and the chateau fab.

Sweet Hostess with Luggage Challenges
Reviewed By loveexploring123Hostess greeted us with a complaint about our heavy luggage. The windy unsteady spiral staircase is most difficult to navigate. She could have waited for us to help OR not complained. When we were leaving, it was very clear to her and us when our luggage was to be picked up. However, when transfer came to pick up our luggage, there was no answer at the B&B. As a result, when we arrived from biking all day, our luggage was not at the next location. Our luggage arrived eventually but this could have been totally avoided. Too bad because everything else was ok.

Reviewed By dudegalBook at Tati Ginette for a truly memorable experience. If you are looking for an ordinary French country auberge, decorated in subtle yellows and blues, look elsewhere. If you are young and hip, this may be just the place you want. We can't help wondering what the locals in this tiny rural suburb of Blois think about the trendy guesthouse that opened in June--apparently the only lodging in town. Julien, the young man who came to the gate in jeans rolled up at the ankles and shiny loafers, did seem surprised to encounter the two un-cool Americans of retirement age who had rung the bell. Julien has clearly put his personal style into every corner of this guesthouse. His distinctive touches are everywhere. Inside the courtyard, you can't miss the Venus de Milo painted bright red. Our bedroom was an homage to pastries. Decorated in pink, green, and gold, it was ornamented with plates of what looked like real French pastries. The wallpaper border was dessert recipes pulled from magazines. The lounge is so artfully arranged to look comfortable that we declined to enter in the evening, thinking it must be his living quarters! As to the essentials, Tati Ginette is a very nice bed and breakfast. The room was comfortable, the bath was large and impeccably clean, the bed was good, and breakfast was great: Fresh crepes and cake-like breads that tasted like Julien had just taken them out of the oven. We wish him success.

A special unique place to stay
Reviewed By franrogerjThis little hotel alongside the Notre Dame Cathedral is beautiful. It combines a medieval building with a sense of modern style. It feels so French! The rooms are very comfortable and spacious, with elegance and practicality well balanced. The breakfast was a standard continental one, but good. Parking is difficult because of roadworks and restricted access, but the owner was very helpful with directions and a map. We loved it.
