Seated right away and waitress was soon there to take our drink order. Really good onion soup, great ribs and chicken and pasta a dish. Service is always good even when they busy. Would be nice if dinner included a salad and some dinner rolls. Good fast food done right . Go for the appetizers and some alcoholic beverages. Like the half priced appetizers.

Clancy's by the Bay

I recently visited Clancy's for a "celebration of life" gathering and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. My wife enjoyed the Sesame Tuna Salad, which was large and fresh with good quality tuna. I absolutely loved the Ginger Soy Salmon topped with an amazing pineapple chutney and perfectly complimented by cashew rice. Another guest saw what I was eating, ordered the same, and loved it as well. Some other guests opted for burgers, which looked oversized and quite delicious.Despite this being a large and somewhat disorganized gathering (not Clancy's fault), the staff was completely on top of their game. We were waited on promptly, our meals were served quickly, and our needs were met throughout the affair.Clancy's is basically a sports bar, so you should adjust your expectations accordingly. But they have a number of dining areas, some more or less secluded from the bar, so you may want to discuss your seating options depending on the kind of experience you're hoping to have. Perhaps not the best spot for a romantic dinner, but entirely suitable for many other occasions. The big surprise to me was how good our food was compared to some other Clancy's locations we have visited. There is ample parking around the building.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience.

The Point is a brand new bar featuring authentic sandy floors, palm trees and dance music. We visited on a very hot Saturday night and upon entering you can’t help but feel you are beachside. To the right there is first come first served corn hole, roped off seating areas along with picnic tables and 2 bars, and Adirondack chairs.Straight ahead are dining tables on a slated wooden floor beside the dance floor and then the band. The band was average and people were dancing both when they played and with the overhead music when they were on break. To the left are more roped off seating areas, an elevated seating area and a walkway to observe the bay along with another bar or two. Now for the roped off areas, they are reservation only and can run from $65-80 per hour to sit here. I simply don’t get it but people were paying as these areas all were in use. Beer $3.50 a bottle and none of us had a mixed drink. Experience this as our first local sandy floored bar but don’t go on the hottest night of the season; there simply was no where to escape the heat. My recommendations for a more successful place would be 1) Hirer a true bouncer. There was a mature man puking at his dinner table on to the floor and staffed seemed ill-equipped to handle him. He needed to be quickly escorted out front with a large pitcher of ice water. 2) Hire more servers! Once you are able to grab an uncomfortable Adirondack chair no wants to give it up running to the bar. Servers seemed to only go to the reservation area which I understand but servers should be serving everywhere!! 3)They need more chairs; I noticed plenty of areas that could’ve handled more chairs. 4) Consider cooling fans or Disney like mist areas to cool down. 5) Someone should be manning the parking lot. We left as two men were nearly about to have a fist-fight, a bouncer could’ve moved them along as well. Also the lot should be closed when full and open to only waiting Uber/Lyft people. As a car leaves allow another to enter. This would avoid the parking lot chaos that was apparent all night.** They do serve bar type food but we didn’t try any so I cannot comment!

Came on recommendation from several people. They must have eaten at a different tuckahoe inn. Slow service. Uneaten food sat on a tray near our table for half hour before being taken away. Panini tasteless. Crabcakes marginal. Ambiance dated, worn, dirty. No I wont return.

Josie Kelly's Public House. Somers Point....5 star! It's not freezing....service is great... The place is beautiful....the food was outstanding! Perfect!! We started out with a cup of soup. ...fantastic. I ordered the beef and guiness pie...my husband ordered the fish pie. The side of arugula had the most delicious dressing. The bread made in house and served with kerrygold butter. This place is how a restaurant should be run. You can see they strive for perfection and in my opinion...they achieved it!

Gregory's is one of a very few places in SP that does not make you wait on a busy night, plus it is possible to find a parking spot nearby. Food is good (for a "cheap eat" place) and reasonably priced. However, the service is a bit chaotic.

Restaurant has been busy for years - good location, food & service. Reservations have never been accepted and waiting has been expected. However, this year it has been nearly impossible to get in during "prime time". We managed to get it on the 3rd try, because did not want to wait for over 1 hr. Yes, food is still good, but we are not sure if it is worth the effort.
