This place has become my new GO TO place.The atmosphere is so much better with music as an added bonus.The food has improved enormously since the new owners took over. The sushi is fresh. The lobster bisque and the flat bead were delicious. I loved the amazing shrimp appetizer while enjoying a martini dockside with my husband. Drinks are reasonably priced and there is a wonderful view to enjoy anytime.I would recommend this picturesque place to anyone looking for a great time and delicious food.

Ate here with friends recently. Typical busy sports bar. Lots of TVs. Host was polite, but busy. Wait staff were super friendly and appropriately attentive. We sat at a high-top, not my favorite, but what was available on a busy weekend evening. Convenient shopping center location with lots of free parking, just off SR 64, a major Bradenton E-W route.There's a pretty broad selection of menu choices. We didn't order drinks, just sweet tea and cola and refills were offered promptly. One of our dinners and the onion rings were slow in coming out of the kitchen on this busy evening. I had the signature meatloaf wrapped in bacon dinner with mash potatoes and grilled vegetables. I must say, it was edible, but just average at best. Not enough gravy. The onion rings we ordered were terrible and mainly tasted of cooking oil. It's a rare occasion when I leave an onion ring uneaten, but this was one. One friend only finished half of his fish dinner, though seemed to enjoy what he ate. My ither friend also got the meatloaf and was less critical than me about the limp bacon wrapping. Prices weren't unreasonable and the quantity of food was fair. I've eaten in two other of their restaurants in the greater Sarasota area with a slightly better recollection of my meals.In summary, just so-so on this first time visit to the SR64 Gecko's. I'm not looking forward to going back.

I ordered the redfish sandwich with sweet potato fries. another ordered the redfish sandwich with regular fries and another the club sandwich.The portions of all were generous. my fish was a little fishy tasting so I needed more lemon and sauce. The club was stacked high and quite tasty. the sweet potato fries where waffle cut and average. The other redfish was consumed without any disappointment.

Five of us met at Riverhouse this past Sunday for brunch and to catch up after many years. The restaurantâs setting is very pretty with lovely water views. It is set back in the marina, but if you arenât able to walk the distance they have a shuttle. The restaurant itself is bright and attractive. The Sunday brunch menu of breakfast items, is in addition to their full lunch menu, so there are many choices for every taste. Everyone in our party enjoyed their selections which included the Eggs Benedict, lobster mac and cheese, huevos rancheros, and shrimp and grits. The wait staff was very friendly and efficient, and allowed us to linger as long as we wanted without rushing us a bit. Thank you for joining us and sharing this awesome review with us! We're so excited you tried our brand new brunch menu and enjoyed your dishes along with some of our other popular dishes from our regular menu. This restaurant was described as Casual, Upscale Dining. It is definitely worth the extra cost. We had a fantastic dinner overlooking the water. The service was perfect and the food delicious. The menu was large and varied. We started with Pumpkin Colada, which is a fall specialty. It was absolutely delicious. We felt we were having dessert first. We decided to order from the appetizer menu. I had Crab Artichoke Spring Rolls. Very unusual and delicious! We both had lamb lollipops. They were coated with bread crumbs and served with delicious mint sauce. This restaurant is a must when visiting the Bradenton area.

We enjoyed our dinners at this resturant. The servers were not as responsive as we felt they should have been on keeping our drinks filled and replacing the one item incorrectly served. We have not dined inside, only outside a couple of times. Would recommend this establishment to anyone on a COOL spring or fall evening. Nice atmosphere.

My husband and I went here for lunch because weâve seen it many times coming over the bridge and one day decided to drive over and see what it was all about. The place has indoor seating but mostly outdoor seating with a bar and area for live band. Thee is also boat parking if youâd like to pull up from the water. They also offer free valet to park your car. All the food looked so good but we went with the grouper sandwich to share and it was delicious! It was the perfect lunch spot for a bud and some grub. We will be back to eat again soon.

What a lovely surprise! We had happy hour drinks (really lovely wine) and excellent meals. Senna did a great job of making us feel at home. The live music was wonderful and the place had a Cheers like atmosphere where locals knew all the words to the original songs.Thank you for coming in. Well. Let me just say that this was much better than I was expecting since this is one of four Anna Maria Island oyster restaurant. The owners have done a wonderful job of having a welcoming atmosphere and pretty audacious food. Love this Bar! Waitress was great ( Hannah) Beer was great. ( I don't do their wine because if the plastic glasses.) I had the fish tacos. They were good ...But... You get about a .5 oz of fish per taco!! Not kidding!!Really, seems like for $9.50 you should get a LOT more! Other annoying factor was group of 20-30 year olds vaping. Hiding it ( they thought)... But blowing out smoke... and passing it to each other and trying to act like they weren't....... so rude in a restaurant where others are eating. Two other couples on outside perimeter were smoking too! The guy with the beard should be more diligent about this. I'd bet he is a smoker. If this is a continuous problem, we will stop coming here. Even tho it is a great Bradenton lunch and dinner place. We always bring out of town company here!
