We enjoyed our dinners at this resturant. The servers were not as responsive as we felt they should have been on keeping our drinks filled and replacing the one item incorrectly served. We have not dined inside, only outside a couple of times. Would recommend this establishment to anyone on a COOL spring or fall evening. Nice atmosphere.

My son suggested Michael Johnâs and we were not disappointed. Both the food and service were excellent. I had the duck, tender and succulent. My wife had the crab stuffed flounder and declared it delicious. My son had the 12 oz. ribeye and it must have been good since he cleaned his plate. My grandson had the shrimp scampi and ate it all. Along with escargot and salads, the meal was uniformly delicious. With wine, drinks, tax and tip our bill was $300. I wouldnât like to spend that much for dinner every night, but it was worth it.

My husband and I went here for lunch because weâve seen it many times coming over the bridge and one day decided to drive over and see what it was all about. The place has indoor seating but mostly outdoor seating with a bar and area for live band. Thee is also boat parking if youâd like to pull up from the water. They also offer free valet to park your car. All the food looked so good but we went with the grouper sandwich to share and it was delicious! It was the perfect lunch spot for a bud and some grub. We will be back to eat again soon.

We have been twice, and the food has been delicious both times. The Thai style fish is cooked perfectly, and delicious. And the tomato and cucumber salads are a great addition to the fish.Thank you for the review and allowing us to serve you dinner tonight

Opted for something other then fast food and was not disappointed! It was really busy, but the wait wasn't long. Great service and the food was delicious! Philly cheesesteak was good and the vanilla caramel shake was amazing! Check this place out!

This is a fun, southern cooking restaurant. They serve a great range of choices, especially their "sides" menu which changes regularly. Service was friendly. Food came out slowly, but as advertised since it's all prepped when ordered. My pork shank was fantastic. Prices are good for what you get. Be sure to bring cash... that's all they take.

Well. Let me just say that this was much better than I was expecting since this is one of four Anna Maria Island oyster restaurant. The owners have done a wonderful job of having a welcoming atmosphere and pretty audacious food. Love this Bar! Waitress was great ( Hannah) Beer was great. ( I don't do their wine because if the plastic glasses.) I had the fish tacos. They were good ...But... You get about a .5 oz of fish per taco!! Not kidding!!Really, seems like for $9.50 you should get a LOT more! Other annoying factor was group of 20-30 year olds vaping. Hiding it ( they thought)... But blowing out smoke... and passing it to each other and trying to act like they weren't....... so rude in a restaurant where others are eating. Two other couples on outside perimeter were smoking too! The guy with the beard should be more diligent about this. I'd bet he is a smoker. If this is a continuous problem, we will stop coming here. Even tho it is a great Bradenton lunch and dinner place. We always bring out of town company here!
