I was hungry and thought of trying this restaurant. Ambiance was good. Honey time. I ordered their seafood pasta thinking my P375 would make me feel full.I was really so disappointed to receive my order. There were like 4 small shrimps and nothing else. It was a very small serving compared to other restaurants who would charge that much. Although the order forms with 2 garlic butter buns. I'm not happy and not coming back to that restaurant again.

With elevated chloresterol levels, my visit to Racks is spaced...out. And when I do come in, I always expect the "falling off the bones" beef ribs. My last visit was as usual, satisfying, making the popular slogan "Where's tje beef" take a different turn. The beef has fallen off the bones, Mate, and no complaints here i so far as texture, flavor and aroma are concerned.Only a real Texas barbecue at Golden Corral in Dallas comes close. Of course, the beef servings there are all you can eat. Back to Pueblo's Racks, however, a serving of half a slab of beef ribs is sufficient to fill the hunger and fulfill a month's supply of cholesterol that requires a regimented ritual of Amoldipine and Lipitor. But hey, if life cannot be lived to the fullest at least once a month, then I have a beef with gastronomics and health advocates.Racks at El Pueblo is a standalone (not mall setting restaurant) and is the only close to fine dining one can have in that place of the sun in Ortigas Center, an island of fast food dining establishments where the Racks is King.Service is great and the food servers are customer friendly, ready with the bibs and eating paraphernalia. If you do come here weekdays, either be early before lunch or an hour after since parking is limited.

If you're looking for chicken wings other than the usual, then this place has a lot of chicken wing variations to choose from. Beer is served below-zero degrees which goes well with your spicy wings. We arrived late in the evening but we still had to wait for quite a while to get seated because there were a lot of customers. The place is a bit crowded and can be a bit noisy. Not the ideal place for an intimate and romantic dinner but rather a place where you can get your hands dirty while getting busy with the chicken wings.

This is where we had our buffet breakfast. Tucked in the 3 star Mercure hotel , the place was everything for the nice atmosphere of a dining experience. Too sad though , the breakfast was really bad. I mean really disgusting. Limited choices in the selection , yet staff manning the egg station was not visible . Ham choices felt overloaded with MSG. Not many courses , yet they offer chicken feet ? Felt like left overs of chicken meals they serve the past few days. Pancakes are not soft and fluffy. I mean for 950 pesos. Definitely not worth it. Funny thing , we were there last evening , at barely 9 pm ( they close at 10 pm) . We asked the waiter if they are still open. Yes he said. But no one even attended to us while we were just standing there. And they had a note, open toe sandals not allowed . But I saw one guy at the breakfast area wearing flip flops. Tsk tsk. That is what you call discipline. Dear guest,First, we would like to extend our apologies with regards to your breakfast experience and for the incident during dinner time at our restaurant, as we always aim to cater to our guests to the best of our abilities. Rest assured that these matters will be raised for discussion to the management for necessary investigation and appropriate actions. We appreciate that you have sent us an honest feedback, as this is very important for us to gauge and manage our services to improve the quality of guest experiences. We do hope that you'd still consider our hotel next time, and surely have a better stay than the last one. Thank you.

My husband and I had some drinks at the nearby Starbucks; so we were still quite full for a filling lunch. The menu of Sunrise Buckets offered burgers, sandwiches, salad, sausages/frankfurters and so we decided to have our lunch here. My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and I ordered the fish and chips with hickory sauce and we topped the meal off with a pitcher of iced tea. The crispy chicken sandwich was generous and delicious. My fish and chips with hickory sauce was also good. The staff was helpful and food was served quickly. Prices were reasonable. Yes, we will return.Hi Cynthia! So glad to hear that you had a great experience at our restaurant, thank you for taking time to recommend your favorite meals! We look forward to seeing you again.

Had lunch with my family here last Sunday (Nov6). True enough they have affordable ribs. Their budget meal (ribs with 2 side dishes), costs only around P700. We also ordered crispy fish and chips, ceasar salad (shrimp) and their house iced tea. For me, the taste is good; though my husband said there's an after taste to it. Overall, if you want affordable ribs, this is the go-to place.

Wildflour Cafe + Bakery

Reviewed By Jen M

This is the third time I've eaten at Wildflour (Salcedo 2x) but first time for this branch (Podium). I wasn't overly impressed by the food before (those past 2 times) but their pastries/ bakery items are good. So coming here for lunch, I wasn't really expecting much but I also didn't think I'd be so let down.First off, the food my sister and I ordered took forever. Longer than the chicken and biscuits which they said would take 20 minutes (which we were willing to wait for). None was said about the Chorizo Fundido, though. But there we were, with everyone almost done eating and my sister and I still waiting. We followed it up and only then did 1 of the Fundido orders arrive with the server asking if we could wait for the other one for 5 minutes more.Fine, it was after all my mom's birthday lunch and we did not want to make a fuss. It eventually came, it looked pretty and tasted good. The last order that came was my pregnant sister's and 6 yr old niece's Croque Madame (they shared it). Again, it was pretty and tasted okay (according to them). But then, they found an eggshell in the sandwich! And it wasn't a tiny piece, but big enough for them not to want to eat it anymore (pic below). It was just too much. For the price they were charging, one would expect a level of service and quality. We had a reservation but had been placed/assigned outside. They moved us after my sister asked. Then, to wait for so long for our order with no notice and then to find that eggshell? Tsk. Cleary, the kitchen was not in order. The servers were apologetic and offered to replace the sandwich- which we felt was a silly resolution. They did, however, remove it from our bill (which we suggested ) and did not charge the donut my niece got in place of the lunch she couldn't eat any longer. I would hesitate to eat at The Wildflour again especially at this branch and would most likely not recommend it.
