Reviewed By Escape58531280067Staff were excellent very approachable and helpful The room we had been upgraded to a suite which was amazing the view over the pools, lake and marina were beautiful. Food was good ( although we ate out most of the time). Cocktails were yum Sun loungers were available with lots of towels available Beach isn’t very far away A truly wonderful 3 day break that has recharged the batteries ready for normal life to resume. Thank you Domes Lake my husband is hard to please and he was pleasantly surprised ??

The chef made a magnificent yummy Birthday cake for him. Apartments have been modernised with new furniture and are comfortable and clean.. We have eaten in the main restaurant a few times. Food has been fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!

Nice Stay
Reviewed By djord4Always a nice stay at this hotel, this was our 4th trip here and most probably our last. It’s a decent hotel but think we have grown out of it now as we can see little by little, things being taken away. I won’t go into everything but the location is quite a big factor. Yes, they put a shuttle bus on but for both beach and evening, the number of people requiring it’s services compared to the tiny van on offer (used to be a large coach) is much larger resulting in queuing wars twice a day and is not overly pleasant when you are trying to chill on holiday but there is no queuing system for the van and it’s a free for all when it opens it’s doors. Next time, think we’ll go for a hotel closer to the beach and marina.

Don't waste your money on this hotel
Reviewed By Karl RBeautiful hotel and grounds but sadly thats the only positive i can write about, the hotel is approx 10 mins from the marina with nothing close to the hotel so they have you by the short and curlys, this is a corporate hotel and in my opinion that is what it mainly caters for, completely lifeless with no atmosphere what so ever, no entertainment in the evening so if you dont want to sit in the boring lobby on an evening then its getting dressed for a trip to the marina to find a bit of life. Most of the staff here are very friendly and will do what ever they can to help apart from a couple who i have never experienced such a bad attitude and made to feel like we was a inconvenience. On one particular evening we had played golf at vale do lobo and had a meal afterwards at the club house then returned to the hotel we had a bottle of wine in the room which required a corkscrew which none was provided in the room (never known this) so we phoned reception to ask for one, 45 minutes later still no corkscrew so phoned again to be told they was not sure what happened but will have one sent up 10 minutes later a knock on the door i opened and put my hand out to be passed the corkscrew only to be told no i will come in, then the lady and her attitude proceeded to tell us she was too busy and didn't need this (her exact words) then said if we wanted the corkscrew again we would be charged 7.5 euros?well I'm sorry for being a guest and asking for something as simple as a corkscrew which should be provided in the room or was this because the mini bar and the extortionate prices were all screw top? The next morning i reported her and her attitude to reception my next little gripe is with the tea and coffee making facilities in the room you have espresso machine and espresso cups none large enough to make a cup of tea and also no milk powdered or in the little capsules so again I called reception asking for tea cups and a bit of milk to make a cup of tea only for it to arrive with a 4 euro charge, i have never known this in any hotel we have stayed in and we only stay in 5⭐/platinum hotels and usually have 3/4 holidays a year from carribean to Indian ocean how on earth can you make drnks without equipment in the room. We are currently still here and would advise anyone thinking of booking this to look at other hotels closer to the marina which would probably cost half as much and you'd get a better service when we do return to the area we will not be booking this hotel and will not be recommending. Like i said at the beginning this caters for corporate events and tries to extract as much money from guests as possible with almost everything having a charge no atmosphere no entertainment and you would probably find more atmosphere in a morgue than here. This has left a bitter taste and something not expected in a hotel with a 5⭐rating I'm not sure what the inspector was thinking or how he gave it a 5⭐ I'm guessing it must have been only done on the basis of thehotel rooms and grounds or maybe he/she was payed off

Great last minute trip
Reviewed By Aisha UWe decided to have a long weekend in Portugal. We found this hotel really last minute. The rooms were nice & super quiet most of the time. My only bug bear was we were woken up to the sounds of a hoover every morning. Breakfast was ok but could have been better with a better selection. The staff were lovely & friendly. Tiago was great & took time to give us some recommendations. The pool was quite small but to be honest we spent most of our days at the beach. Overall it was a nice stay.

Quiet, Relaxing Hotel
Reviewed By CathDexJust returned from a week's holiday here. Lovely, quiet hotel away from the busy town in a beautiful setting. The hotel is extremely well kept and the apartments are cleaned daily with fresh towels and bed linen. Each apartment has it's own private balcony or terrace. Staff are very friendly and helpful and apparently multi-task from our observations!. We opted for self catering but ended up eating most days at the pool bar where there was a small selection of sandwiches/burgers served with crisps or chips. We found this quite adequate for our needs and not expensive. We had breakfast in the restaurant on our first morning and there was a selection of cooked food including full English breakfast if that is what you want or a wide selection of cereals, pastries, bread rolls and fruit plus coffee, tea and fruit juices. There is also a separate bar open in the evenings. Although there is a large swimming pool and a smaller pool that would suit children this is not the place to take young children who need entertaining all day, we considered it more suitable for adults due to it's location. A complimentary shuttle service runs from the hotel to Vilamoura Marina 3 times a day. Would definitely recommend.

Great but dogs on site!!!!
Reviewed By neilshewGot attacked by a dog walking back to apartment one evening in the hallway. Apparently it’s a residents dog and reception weren’t interested at all. If we had young children with us then could have been a different story. Hilton seem to be turning a blind eye as our complaints were ignored. The owner of the dog was completely belligerent and seemed to think it was appropriate to allow a large dog to roam the corridors of the apartment. Thank god our kids weren’t with us.

The busy and cosmopolitan marina of Vilamoura with its designer boutiques, bars and restaurants is only 5 minute’s drive as is the beautiful golden beach of Falesia. The town of Quarteira is also only 5 minutes drive again offering a great selection of restaurants, shops, supermarket and daily fish market. Taxis are available and cost approximately €8.00
Superb Stay
Reviewed By keithcarnesHi, just spent a week with our family at Pine Hills Apartments. The gardens, pool bar and general standards of the apartents are excellent. It is easy to walk to the Old Village and Marinain the evenings and we also used the Uber/taxi system which is good. Highly recommend this resort under new management.
