Reviewed By CynP1987Love this place!! My second stay in Iberostar Lanzarote and absolutely love it! We stayed for 2 weeks in the Star Prestige area and we can totally recommend it! Breakfast and diner is in the prestige restaurant, lunch is in the main restaurant which is very crowded and busy with kids. Food has a great quality. During nighttime we had our drinks at the Star Prestige Poolbar with live music. A big thank you to Charaf, Jan and the others! They work very hard! Hopefully we will return in 2023.

Reviewed By katieb8277We are back from this amazing hotel a week now, I really cant find a fault in any part of our stay, thought I was going to have a rough 2 weeks sleep because I found the bed so Hard (beds are always hit and miss with me) spoke to reception next morning and a mattress topper was on my bed within an hr bliss lol, staff are lovely the bedrooms were kept spotless, any thing I used were replaced next day (tea, coffee, etc), and the food was amazing plenty of choice even the most picky eater would find something to enjoy. Plenty of sunbeds so didn't feel a rush to get out early to get one. round the pool area, was so relaxing entertainment was there but not intrusive , the piano bar was lovely and were so friendly while wizzing about with full trays lol. once the problems with the airports settle down we will be booking a return visit .

Great standards , shame on service and evening entertainment
Reviewed By MikePaula21Firstly I wanted to say that the room standards and outside areas were really a good standard with great access to both the port and playa Blanca ,however the main points for this hotel to improve upon are food options and additional staffing, the evening entertainment was very basic and lead us to go out on an evening or retire early. We were on an all inclusive basis and had also upgraded to preferred club, firstly the food was very limited in choice and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The entertainment on an evening was very basic and lacking any real substance, we were very disappointed thus went out to avoid the boredom, the last point was the lack of staffing on an evening especially, waiting to be served and seated ! Just not good enough really. In the evenings just one main bar which struggled with the volume, an additional sports bar was not available? On the preferred club we had access to a club members pool and private lounge with snacks throughout the day , this was a pleasant bonus but found the food being left out far to long and not replaced regularly. This is a real shame because the hotel standards generally were high with branded drinks nice pool areas and great vista. If the hotel contracted on making improvements in these areas it would be fantastic, unfortunately we would not return. Mike &Paula

Sandos Papagayo . All Inclusive is located on the seafront in Playa Blanca, Lanzarote. The hotel is close to beaches of the Papagayo Natural Park (600m). The Timanfaya National Park is 20 km away. The rooms are spacious and bright, with a balcony with views, bathroom with hairdryer, satellite TV with international channels. Each room provides a safety deposit box (supplement charge). The complex provides four outside pools, gym, minigolf and sports center, plus spa, sauna and steam bath. It also has eight bars,and a snack bar, as well as a few restaurants: - International Restaurant - Italian Restaurant - Fusion Restaurant: Alternately Mexican/Oriental Nights The front desk is 24 hour manned and has a tourist information including car rental and tour services. The hotel provides free Wi-Fi in public areas.

Reviewed By myra_grierWe're back a week and wishing we were back in Sandos Papagayo. We enjoyed a wonderful 9 night stay at this lovely resort. A few things need addressing but did not impact on our holiday. The check-in was very slow, we arrived late and were looking forward to a quick check-in but it was rather slow and a bit annoying! Apart from that I can only say that Sandos Papagayo is a very good hotel. I'd definitely give them 5* for cleanliness (which I think is very important) the hotel was spotless, the rooms always immaculate. The public toilets were checked all the time and every public space was spotless. This is a really big hotel and as newcomers, it might be a good idea to have big, better signage for the Snack Area. Not easy to find unless someone shows you where it is. The entertainment is excellent with a variety to suit everyone, including the Green room where you will enjoy live musicians, piano, Sax, violin, all brilliant. Food good, not gourmet but my plate was always full! A must is the FUSION restaurant, offering oriental & Tex-mex. These need to be booked at reception but are included in yr all inclusive. The food at both are amazing & the dining room is lovely. All in all Sandos Papagayo is brilliant! I'd go back in a heartbeat. The pools, are super & the adult only pool is the place to go if you don't have kids, with really good sunbeds. Ignore any negative comments, some people are never happy!
