Room was large, sparkling clean. 2 sinks in the bathroom, hair dryer, large balcony. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Would definitely go back.

Very disappointing
Reviewed By Anibal SThe hotel is looking very tired and neglected, it’s in desperate need of a refurbishment. The room and in particular the bathroom was poorly decorated, it looked like it had been done by amateurs with rough wood surfaces poorly painted. To be honest I could have done better and I’m no professional. In out room there was exposed telephone wiring, broken cable ducts, poor Wi-Fi and a lack of accessible power points to charge electronic devices. Hard to see how the hotel gets a 3* rating. On the plus side it is in an excellent location, provides car parking and has a cheerful and dedicated staff.

Clean, great location, fun town
Reviewed By qsmamoWe stayed here for four nights while hiking and exploring the Rota Vicentina. I imagine parking is impossible to find, but we arrived via bus. Perfect for our needs. The rooms (we had two) were very clean, the staff helpful and friendly, breakfast fine, not stand out. We never made it up to the rooftop terrace, darn, because the views from there are alleged to be spectacular. We were always too busy. Lots of great places to eat or grab an apero in the afternoon close by.

With a pool where you can enjoy and the beach right next door. At the end of the day you can see the beautiful sunset. Love to be here...its my peace. Had create really good memories here

Reviewed By Meander36904902024The Herdade do Freixial is an excellent tourist accommodation to stay. It has a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, bikes, motorcycle 4, among others. The landscape is very beautiful and the place itself is very well presented. The staff is attentive and the food that they serve is very tasty and varied. I absolutely recommend, specially, because it is very peaceful.

CasazulLocated in the Natural Park of Southwest Alentejano, this lodge is located in Alagoachos, in a quiet area approximately 1500m from Vila Nova de Milfontes center.Casazul have the art of hospitality typical of Alentejo. Reviewed By AitchEm11200Fully functional though sparsely furnished small room with bathroom attached. The excellent and friendly staff provides an easy, relaxing stay in a homely environment. No air conditioning but TV and Wifi are freely provided. The B&B is located in a subdivision outside of Milfontes town itself and one's own motorized transport will prove to be useful. Do avail yourself of the breakfast option : a real treat !

Reviewed By EresiarcaA peaceful retreat in the nature but just 5 minutes away from Vila Nova de Milfontes. Room s are simple but comfortable. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful. The huge garden of the property is perfectly curated and you can enjoy pool, football and tennis.

Perfect for anyone on the Rota Vicentina
Reviewed By K1773DTsimondI stayed at Tres Marias with my wife for 2 nights while walking a section of the Rota Vicentina in May 2022. We had a twin bedded room. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable with high quality bedlinen. Everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was superb and can be taken in your room or private patio at no extra cost and dinner was excellent. We were made welcome on arrival and the staff friendly and helpful at all times. They were especially good at driving us to the start and picking us up at the end of our walk for free - which was very useful as the hotel location is so remote. The infinity swimming pool was spectacular. The buildings and furnishings are modern and beautifully designed. I would highly recommend staying here when walking the Rota Vicentina.

Big booking and post-sale problems
Reviewed By Adventure07618142574My experience only concerns booking and post- sale experience as I couldn't reach the facility - still, it was a quasi-nightmare for the total lack of attention to the customer from the facility and booking.com alike. I had booked a two-days stay back in May (Portugal was green and Covid looked well under control - just got my second jab), then everything went wrong - Easyjet cancelled our flight, Portugal went red and it was impossible to leave Lisbon if we reprogrammed flights to reach the place. I cancelled my reservation explaining the issues and asked if a partial refund was possible - Booking and the facility started a ping-pong blaming each other and, besides not refunding anything, they refused to cancel my reservation - I got plenty of messages saying the time for mandatorily showing up at the property, a no-show notification and further annoyances.., Never more!
