Reviewed By Daniel BBeautiful turn of the century manor house, surrounded by a nice garden. First impression: quite atmospheric. Reception is at the same time the cashier desk and souvenir shop of the manor museum; reception service was friendly. The hotel has rooms in the main building (they call it palace) and in the former stables (which they call "manor"). We had booked a suite in the main building. The receptionist kindly walked us to our room, which, as she explained, is usually for the newly wed couples who celebrate their wedding at the manor. Wooo, we had high expectations. Disappointment began when we were walked to the basement (!), starting to notice the smells of strong cleaning detergents mixed with basement mold, a smell which also extended to the room. The room, maybe 20 square metres, was certainly not anything like a suite. It was just a room with a double bed and two chairs. No fridge, no mini bar. If you're taller than 190cm, you will have a problem in the bed due to its size. We spent a little bit of time chasing the spiders, then decided to go for dinner/drinks to the manor restaurant (also in the basement). At 18:50h we were told that we couldn't stay because they were about to close (on a Sunday at 19:00h). Instead, we checked tripadvisor and ended up in a lovely, stylish restaurant called "Terase" about 10km up the road in a village called "Pure". Food was great. I strongly recommend that restaurant. In the evening, we were hoping to use the sauna in the manor, but we were told it's out of order. Next morning, breakfast in the manor was also a disappointment. Very, very basic. Nothing sweet, no jam, no honey, just cold cuts, two types of cheese and fried eggs. Summary: The manor hotel is not well managed The suite is not a suite Service was "ok" Stay clear of the spiders At EUR 125 clearly overpriced If you specifically want to stay in an old manor house, choose Kuksu Muiza or Rumene instead, which both are truly classy and not far from Jaunmokas.

Food is delicious and staff is very professional and kind! Everything is clean, hotel has parking, rooms are cute. It was already second time there and definitely will come back again!

Saved our day
Reviewed By 25tarynpI travelled to tukums with my parents and my niece and we had a reservation but it was in the middle of the woods and kinda creepy so we cancelled it. Luckily, We found Hotel Tukums and they said they had a Room for us so they basically saved our stay because the other reservation we made wouldn’t be ready till next day. The room had four single beds and it was quite small but still comfortable. Very clean. The price of the room includes breakfast in the morning,it was a really good breakfast with many things to choose. Special thanks to Max who was really kind and helpful.

Reviewed By 25tarynpI stayed at the Hotel of Tukums ledus halle for six days because there was a skating camp my niece assisted to. The staff is really helpful,the bar they have upstairs is really good and the rooms are comfortable and very clean,you get fresh towels every day. I really appreciated the kindness of all the staff,specially Sabine,who was really kind and give me some great advice about what are the best places to visit in Latvia.

Reviewed By GoodTea2015What a beautiful hidden little gem. My friend booked this apartment early july . Its is lovely studio flat with big kitchen,dinning table,huge bed and double pull up sofa bed. The bathroom was huge and very clean. All apartment was very light and clean,but the best thing was AC unit,i love that thing :). But for me the best experience was the hosts Marina and Girts,they was so nice and welcoming,nothing was too much for them. Thank you so so so so so much for your lovely hospitality. We will definitely be back.

"Plosti" began its activities as a tourism and recreation base in the 1960s, and at that time its name was on every tourist guide in Latvia. Over the years, many things have changed but there are values that have stood the test of time. We are happy for guests who each year visit "Plosti" to enjoy nature, landscape view from the house balconies or boating along the Abava. There are nine cottages refurbished and landscaped area. Each cottage is equipped with all amenities, air conditioning, crockery, kettle and mini fridge. Wireless internet is available throughout the area.
