To begin with - I have been traveling around the globe for years, paying special attention to old Castles and manors as Im in love in history.
And this place captured me with its unique and authentic atmosphere. And as the cherry on the cake - its owner! A man whos in love with whats hes doing and the place.
Hes not only welcoming guests - hes also a chef!!! And not just a chef - CHEF as in Michelin starred restaurant!
I was overhelmed with attention and care, felt like old time aristocrat visiting an old friend.
And all of that in my country - it is amazing!
I really do RECOMMEND this place!
It is a must for Latvia citizens, it is a must for every guest visiting Latvia.
We had one of the most romantic evenings ever :) And Hope you will get it too by visiting this place!

I pop in here for lunch or dinner every time I visit Tukums. comfy Seating, relaxed atmosphere and decent food is a winning combo. Value you get for your money is amazing. Large portions. Other reviews mention that the service is slow, but I would disagree with that.

Time to go away from the city rush. Restaurant "Terase" is waiting for you next to river Abava in Pure For us it is important that visitors feel comfortable and welcome here. At Our place you can enjoy peacefully a business lunch or a leisurely dinner. As an additional service we offer a banquet table setting. The restaurant entrance without pets. When booking a table outside on Terrace, fondling will be located next to you. There is an opportunity to leave the dogs on a leash at the restaurant.

It is a great place to be. If You are on the trip you should stop hear and have a delicoious meal. Great food, great prices awesome view. You have to come here.

Varje gång jag besöker staden Tukums blir det en fika på Cafè Elizabete ! Denna gång fanns ytterligare åtta personer med och alla var nöjda med kaffe-kaka eller bakelse och till ett billigt pris ! Bra cafè !

We ate here twice - very good food, nicely presented, very reasonably priced, great selection of bar drinks, a bit of wine and quite a bit of beer. The restaurant is very pretty, especially on a cold winter day! Our waitress spoke excellent English and was very sweet.
The menu is not huge, but has nice options for Latvian food like fish, but also has pork, beef and vegetarian options, a couple of soups, and several salads - everyone should be able to find something they would like.

Огромные основные блюда, так что десерты или закуски просто не влезет в желудок среднего размера, но вежливая официантка завернет с собой. Десерт из ржаного хлеба разочаровал искусственными сливками.
