Reviewed By Sightsee45731301278I will never stay at this hotel again..I am a VIP at this hotel and I was treated very rude by employees and supervisors especially at the lunch restaurant and front desk.. before the pandemic this hotel was very good but not now! I will never come back..El Salvador have beautiful boutique hotels all over the places that people can book specially through this app and at better price!

A really nice hotel!
Reviewed By rdb65I have to say that I was very impressed with this hotel. The room was beautiful and the view was breathtaking. Our hosts Alberto and Maria made you feel welcome and at home! We stayed for 4 nights, there is so much to see and do in this area , the surrounding towns are very nice as well. The town of Juayua is very safe, even at night. The people also are very friendly, and everyone gives you a smile and are willing to help you anyway they can . El Salvador is an amazing Country!

Probé el cheesecake de fresa y café de variedad anaerobico y me fue bastante bien. No son baratos pero no lo encontré como un precio excesivo para la oferta (2.5 por el café en V60 y $3 por el cheesecake) Reslata montones el sitio en el ambiente del pueblo. El café esta en el último nivel, siento que podría estar mejor señalizado que existe un café arriba

Great value, wonderful breakfast, secluded, safe, right on the beach
Reviewed By jkguiterThis was our first time (and first night) in El Salvador. We had booked this online after finding it on Google Maps. Driving from the airport to the property was easy; just follow what map app you use on your phone. The property was clean and well presented. Only one other couple was staying there when we were. Check in was easy and we were immediately in our room. We stayed in the private room rather than the dorms. The air conditioning was excellent (actually got too cold at night!). The shower was cold and shower head poor, but not completely unexpected, and certainly did the job (what can you expect for $20 a night). The staff (family-run, I'm guessing) were very nice and accommodating. They had wifi (just ask for password). The breakfast in the morning was excellent! We didn't get in the pool, but the property literally backs up to the beach, so we enjoyed a beautiful sunset, walking along the beach, which feels like a private beach. Many prior reviews have mentioned the parking situation. Although it is a small area and cars have to be double parked, we were grateful they had fenced in, safe parking. It didn't take long to get our car out. I would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing spot with the understanding that it is a hostel.

Finding an ideal guest house in Juayua does not have to be difficult. Welcome to Dona Mercedes, a nice option for travelers like you. The guest house offers a 24 hour front desk and baggage storage, to make your visit even more pleasant. Guests arriving by vehicle have access to free parking. When you’re feeling hungry, be sure to check out El Cadejo Cafe, which is a pub that is popular with locals and out-of-towners alike. Cozy and friendly in the heart of Juayua
Reviewed By AshleyC826It was a Casa(family home)and not really a hostel as only one room hand bunk beds. The family were very accomodating and though the wife spoke no English she used the translator. However, the husband spoke English fluently and we were able to have a wonderful conversation in the evening. The bed and the room was comfy, the courtyard is a good place to relax or have breakfast. The bathroom was clean and had good water pressure including hot water. Wifi was strong throughout the property. Breakfast was wholesome. Location was less than a 3min walk to the main square and in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. This was an excellent value for money Casa and I wish I had booked for 2nights as Juayua is a nice colonial town to visit.

Los Cobanos village lodge is located within a fishing community, it is oriented for responsible travelers wanting to get involve with our local culture. We are in front of the only volcanic nature coral reefs in the Central American Pacific coast. Wreck diving, volcanic reef diving, kayaking and fishing are among the activities recommended. In December and January humpback whale watching is possible.
A perfect getaway
Reviewed By Sabrina1176Stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it!! The pool was nice, with shaded tables to hang out around, the breakfast was good and the showers were not salt water!! The room was clean and big and we even had a private balcony. It does get busy on Saturday and Sunday but still a very enjoyable experience. We had a very relaxing time in this lovely fisherman village, very low key, just what we needed!

Set Your Expectations Right and You Will Love This Property
Reviewed By A SOur group stayed in this rustic, wonderful property in Feb 2020. The owner and her son are wonderful people who provided amazing meals (different each day over the 4 days and 3 nights we were there). The highlight is being directly on a quiet, non-commercial beach for a very low price compared to something on the beach in a tourist area. Our group loved it and will definitely go back there again. We didn’t use the pool as it is not the chlorinated kind....but we didn’t care as the beach and amazing surf were of far more interest. The rooms are simple with 2 or 3 single beds each. If you are there as a couple just push the beds together. The rooms are colorful but have the expectation that the bathroom and shower area is fairly open. Most of the rooms have the shower tucked around the corner but there are no bathroom doors. That didn’t matter for our group but it may be something to consider if privacy inside the room is important to you. As with other places in this part of El Salvador, do not expect hot showers. They weren’t ice cold but expect lukewarm at best. Hammocks are all over the place on the property and the flowers / landscaping is excellent. We also loved the place where meals are served overlooks the beach. I am already making plans to bring my entire family here later this year. Our group loved it and you will too if you go in with the right expectations.

Reviewed By Douglas EClean rooms. Bead and breakfast hotel. Restaurant is ready to provide a real breakfast but you must ask for it. Own parking lot. Small pool. Elevator to all floors. Not so good internet, and only reach rooms on floors 1 to 3.
