Atlantida Mar Hotel puts at your disposal: bar / lounge with large panoramic ocean view, breakfast room (buffet), also with panoramic views; outdoor pool, surrounded by solarium and terrace; fitness center, steam sauna and hydrotherapy SPA with 86 jets. Thinking in our guests with disabilities, all public spaces and three lodging are fully adapted.
Wonderful experience at Atlantida

Planning for our first visit to the Azores, we were initially unsure whether we wanted to be out of the main city of Angra. But in hindsight, we were happy we did. It’s an easy 20 minute drive from Praia da Vitoria on the occasions that you do want to go to Angra. (And I mean no offense to Angra. It’s a fantastic town and we visited it repeatedly.) And the benefits for us or multiple. The beautiful ocean view and sunrises from our room at the Atlantida. The far quieter and more serene setting vs. in Angra proper. The ability to walk out of the hotel directly to the Esplanade for a walk on the coast in the evenings. Easy parking. And, at least during our stay, the weather always seem to be better around Praia da Vitoria Then on most of the other parts of the island. And all of the things that others have already said. Lovely staff, spacious rooms, impeccably clean, excellent breakfast buffet.

The family-friendly hotel is situated in the north of Terceira Island, in Praia da Vitória, just 500 metres from the beach and the marina. The centre of Praia da Vitória is just a 2-minute walk and Angra do Heroísmo, a World Heritage Town, is located approximately 20 kms away. Terceira Island-Lajes Ab airport is only 3 kms from the hotel. This family-run hotel offers a wonderful atmosphere and all the comforts required for a pleasant stay, be it for business or leisure. The hotel has a total of 52 rooms, comfortable and simply furnished. All feature an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Guests may take a dip in the outdoor swimming pool or relax in the garden style sunbathing area.
Good, solid 3 star hotel
Reviewed By Mariana PStayed for one night, in one of the recently refurbished rooms. Nice, bright and very clean. Comfortable bed and good a/c. Helpful reception staff and a reasonable breakfast, with plenty of choices. The hotel has a nice looking pool with sun loungers. Location wise, it´s a short walk from the seafront, with plenty of restaurants to choose from and a nice beach. Praia da Vitória is a quaint little town, with plenty of nice photo opportunities.

Reviewed By D_StasyaIf you look for a serenity and love rural setting, this the place. The service is perfect, the staff is beyond nice and accommodating. Quinta dos Figos offers a variety of fully equipped nicely decorated town houses and aparments. The place is only 20 minutes walk/5 minutes drive from Praia da Vitoria town. The ocean pools Porto Martins are also very close. The staff can recommend a variety of attractions and tours around the island.

Surprised with an excellent sleep !
Reviewed By JohnTienenBelgiumAs we had an early flight at 07.00 am we booked this 2 star hotel for our last night. Distance from airport 1100 m , 10' -15 ' walking distance ; we had just 2 trolleys. In any case don't go to early to the airport ; 1hour in advance is time enough. We mailed our checkin time to the hotel to Ms Lara and there was no problem. Ms Maria welcomed us very friendly. We asked for a room at the back. Very clean, comfortable large bed, very silent, good airco, bathroom. We had an excellent sleep ! There was a coffee maker, coffee, tea, juices and biscuits in the room for free. Breakfast was possible for €4 but we left early. There are some restaurants in walking distance, direction airport : Marisqueria Sabores do Atlantico (22') , La Traviata (22') , Esperanca (12'), Cockpit (10') and Minimercado Sabores (2'). For our last night we choosed for Restaurant Esperanca on the terrace, just in front of the airport entrance. We didn' regret, it was very good. 2 House steaks with fries, peppers, bread and butter , and a bottle of red wine Reguengos. For a total bill €21 . On your walk to the restaurant or airport you'll find 3 bars where time stood still, 2 on the left and 1 at the right. Don't miss them !!!! Our favourite was Tole Bar at the left side. Please have drink and don't miss it !!! Time stood still.
