Celia and Vicente in particular are just amazing genuine people who cannot do enough to make our stays such an enjoyable experience. It was great to be introduced to Marco on arrival - please don’t change anything Marco, everything has been fantastic since we first stayed with you in 2014. We are back in early October and cannot wait !!!

The four star Vilar do Golf is situated in the prestigious 2,000 acre Quinta do Lago Estate in the Algarve, Portugal. Reviewed By AlanMee_11Vilar Do Golf is a relaxing resort that offers everything to everyone. We have stayed at this resort before and we hired a car on our previous visit but we didn't this time as the flight times were not great and we were only there for 5 days. We arranged a transfer with the resort for collection and return journey to Faro airport which were excellent. We then used UBER to get about which was really cheap. We would go to Quinta Do Lago shopping center to use the large supermarket and the restaurant's in the day and the evening. UBER was approx 4 Euro each way and were there within 10 minutes. When you compare the total price of transfers and UBER it was much cheaper and much easier than hiring a car which was fairly expensive. Great relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings.

Reviewed By helenevesonHave spent 5 nights here and what a fabulous hotel it is . The service is brilliant and the food and rooms are lovely . The hotel is impeccably clean everywhere and is in fabulous location to explore the nearby resorts . We will definitely be returning. One to recommend is the Bold Octopus but book ahead of your visit it is a 5 mins taxi ride away or a 25mins walk but would definitely recommend.

Reviewed By h1235We had an incredible holiday at Dunas Douradas Beach Club in late March. Our apartment was very spacious, modern and extremely well stocked. The apartment had a terrace at the front, one at the side and a large roof terrace with bbq, sink and fridge. Overall cleanliness and condition was great throughout the resort and apartment. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The indoor pool was heated and rarely busy. The outdoor pools were lovely but very cold as not heated. Ideal location next to the beach with very easy access. Would highly recommend!

Reviewed By Jeff BJust returned from a lovely, relaxing week at the Dona Filipa in Vale do Lobo. The hotel has a great team of staff who provide a quality, personal service. Special mention to our Housekeeper, Fatima and Receptionist Ana Patricia, who arranged a very thoughtful surprise of sparkling wine and chocolate cake in our room for my wife’s birthday. Our room was large, stylish, impeccably clean, with a lovely view overlooking the golf course and the sea beyond. Food at the hotel was excellent, breakfast a particular treat, both in choice and service. We enjoyed our stay so much we have just booked to return in September. Thank you Dona Filipa, see you again soon.

Beautiful resort but you need to plan your days
Reviewed By lyndaandgaryThis was the first time we stayed here and it is a large resort with amazing villas dotted along the tree lined roads, apartments and houses. We opted for a one bed apartment which was nice and spacious, but according to my friend who’s stayed there a few times, these are often privately owned so each apartment might be slightly different inside, I’m not sure. Just two things were a little annoying with ours, the hairdryer was attached to the wall, like a lot of hotels and look prehistoric and was really slow, secondly we couldn’t use the safe as you had to pay for it, which would have meant a trip back to reception, which isn’t just around the corner.....who charges for safes nowadays? They need to remove this charge. The resort itself is lovely but you can’t just pop for a swim, everything is quite a way away so planning would be something that needs to be done on this type of stay. For us it didn’t matter as only stayed a couple of nights as was here for a wedding.

Reviewed By Roccolove555location is central :) Pharmacie in front of the hostel for example and many nice cheap but also special and more expensive shops. Room and all the communal spaces are very clean, liked the mattress. The staff is very nice and helpfull. Everyone has their own unique qualities. Camera`s in the communal spaces. The only thing i did not like was the air freshener in the bathroom, too chemical for me but you can just put it outside and return it after use. The blue water in the toilet looks very fancy but it is not my cup of tea. Muito obrigada, staff of Coreto hostel + guesthouse.

Great location to explore Loule
Reviewed By ABQJaneWe stayed 2 nights to explore Loule and glad we chose this hotel. It is directly across from the Mercado and well situated for exploring the area. It was a very comfortable room and we were on the top floor (3) and had a balcony. A great location to enjoy a glass of wine and the views! The room was spotless as well as the property. A continental breakfast was included in the price of the room and was plenty to begin the day. The room had a refrigerator, too. Definitely would return and recommend.
