No complaints, would certainly stay here again. A bit pricey but close to the festival. Some nice breakfast sandwiches. We had a two queen studio.

Good, but not great
Reviewed By texmarcWhen you take a road trip you get to compare hotel brands head to head. We stay in Marriott exclusively and in the last two nights have a comparison of Fairfield hotels. The night before we stayed in Jackson TN at a 6 year old inn and it was top rate.. much closer to Springhill Suites than Old Fairfield Inns. Last night we experienced the older Fairfield and it was not nearly as nice. The room was much smaller with only one chair and a desk chair for seating. The bath area small and dimly lit, and a TV which didn't work (the night mgr., Matt, was helpful in getting that corrected). The good, bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and breakfast good. Overall it wasn't bad, just not up to the previous night at the same brand hotel. Bottom line, if passing through I'd stay again, if staying longer, we probably look for nicer digs.

Not the best Quality property
Reviewed By OhhhdearThis property needs maintenance. We stayed in a king bed room with a jacuzzi for one night. First tip; our room keys didn’t work well; took 8-10 swipes for the mechanism to work. The light switches on the lamps were broken. The rug around the jacuzzi was frayed and torn and the carpet throughout the room was frayed and pulling away from the padding. This is a serious trip hazard. Also, the ac/heater unit made a annoying whine every time it cycled in, loud enough to wake me up all night. Worse, the flip security lock was missing the other half although the deadbolt functioned. Thankfully the bedding was clean and no bugs, and there were enough towels provided. Numerous paint scrapes and dings and the sheer curtains were pulled off the rod and hanging weirdly. No fruit, hard boiled eggs, or hot scrambled eggs or food at breakfast. Hubby said the waffle batter was sour and not mixed well. Orange juice drink was watered down Unsure if we would stay here in future.

Nice Hotel, not cheap
Reviewed By Ellen PThis was a very nice Hotel but a little expensive for what we got. We had no Remote for our TV. We were on the 4th floor and one of the elevaters didn't work the whole weekend. We were trying to come down but Housekeeping was washing the floor in the only working elevater and he refused to stop to let us come down. The Breakfast was REALLY nice. The food was delicious and fresh. They had a pancake making machine but it didn't work. We stayed for 2 nights but were never told that "due to Covid", they would not be cleaning our room after the 1st night. That's something they should have let us know. This was a very nice Hotel. The front desk staff were wonderful. The lady working the breakfast was super nice. A little too expensive for what we got in my opinion. They did have a hidden charge on the bill when we 1st received it but were told that it would fall off once the charge went thru. It was just for "incidentals".

Our room was wonderful and the breakfasts were fantastic. Carol and Steve were so nice and made us feel right at home. There was plenty to do on both sides of the river and this B&B is in a perfect location.

Right off Interstate 265, our hotel is just minutes from downtown Louisville attractions and night life. Churchill Downs, home of the Kentucky Derby, is 15 minutes away and we are just steps from River Ridge Commerce Center. Reviewed By hollypL1711PYI will start by saying the hotel staff who checked us in was wonderful! They were both very friendly and accommodating. The room itself was not very clean, with random hairs on my pillow case and a clogged sink. Upon finding these things we were moved to another room with a broken drain and fingerprints all over the shower curtain. I don’t think we’ll be staying here again, as this has been a common reoccurrence with Hilton hotels over the past several months.

Reviewed By Paradise554308We spent 5 days at this hotel. It was nice enough, had indoor pool/hot tub, breakfast, spacious suites. On day 1 we noted a dehumidifier in our room with a sign on it that said to use it if we felt the room was too humid. There was no power button (on/off switch on it), when we reported this to the desk, they replied, "Then just leave it there and don't use it." Throughout day 1 we were in and out of the hotel and there was no employee presence. I found this unnerving when I had to run out at 10 PM and returned to open doors and no security. The back door was also unlocked as late as 10PM. Breakfasts were efficient; juice, coffee, packaged breakfast sandwiches, quiches, etc. bagels w/ butter & jam (no cream cheese), bananas and oranges. Ones side of the toaster was broken and during the weekend the line was ridiculous. How much does a new toaster cost? Our room was not cleaned. That was not communicated and when we called to say we did not have service we were told that we must have had the Do Not Disturb sign out - there was no Do Not Disturb sign. I had no problem cleaning up daily, we set up a system with the housekeepers; we would set out our towels & garbage and they would take them away and leave what we needed. This, we discovered, from them, has evolved since Covid but was never communicated by the front desk. The final blow that spurred me on to writing this review was in the pool. The vinyl table clothes were spotted and dingy. Four of us were sitting around the table and proceeded to clean the cloth. The manager (?) came in and checked the pool chemicals while we were doing this. I was quite vocal about what we were doing. He said/did nothing. On the way out, I lifted the box next to the pool where the manager just tested the chemical balance of the pool. It was filled with pool toys left and lost in the pool. It was too much work to clean it out. I went to the desk to speak to a woman that was helping out from corporate that day and of course, she was not there. Maybe I was extra grumpy that day from the frozen breakfast sandwich she served but I decided if I couldn't speak to a human there, I would write a review. Once home I tried to write something on Marriott's internet page or send them a message. Guess what??? No link. If your going to Jeffersonville, Indiana, stay at the Radisson instead.

Reviewed By Q7215XZjoshPlace was a dump and room price was inflated due to Derby. Just a total rip off. There were stains on the bedsheets, and the carpets were disgusting. We had to shower when we eventually got home just to feel clean. Room reeked of smoke even though “non smoking”. We got up after only 5 hours of sleep just to leave.

Reviewed By Dark74Staff was wonderful, no microwave or refrigerator in the rooms and the bathrooms are set up questionably! The restroom door is two inches from you in the rooms, and the bathrooms in the lobby has stalls that are super small, I’m not small, but I’m not really big and they were ridiculously close quarters! Unfortunately due to storages no coffee with caffeine in the rooms, but they did make some to get in the lobby! Staff as I said were very kind and helpful!

Reviewed By RSF808Convenient location across the river from Louisville. Everything was great during our stay, no issues. Had breakfast one morning, there were plenty of items on the buffet. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
