Reviewed By SiempreAlexIf you are looking for a clean and a correct priced hotel in Foz this is the place What I liked - the room (only a refrigerator is missing. And air conditioning but on this area never you have 40 degree) - the breakfast: basic but I liked the fruits especially - Llas beach at 7 min walking- and this is the best beach in Foz -easy finding parking in the area What I do not like: - the position against the city - you have to walk 30 min to get into the city and in the restaurant area. Or use the car... -nothing in the area if you want to eat or drink a beer - only supermarkets

The hotel has 39 rooms equipped with TV, WIFI, terrace ... All rooms are overlooking the sea, from where you can contemplate second to none sunsets. The hotel facilities are completed with a spa area where you can enjoy wellness sessions with a wide selection of body treatments. You can also enjoy the good weather in the outdoor pool. The restaurant area has Restaurant with sea views and where you can taste the best of the delicious Galician cuisine; the hotel has a large upper terrace where you can enjoy delicious cocktails overlooking the sea. In addition, in Oca Playa de Foz Hotel & Spa you will not have to worry about parking thanks to its private garage.
Great hotel but pricy services
Reviewed By Steph_FR-BEThis hotel opened on the 10th of April 2019 and is therefore still spotless. It is very well located in front of the beach where the river meets the ocean and about 10 min walk from the church and central square. Rooms have all sea-view but it gives on a common balcony which doesn't give you the privacy you could expect nor enable you to let things dry outside, especially if you are at the ground floor. Parking is free in the street which make the inside garage at 11€/night very expensive. They are yet missing the "airport trolley" to help you with the luggage upon arrival (if you don't travel light has we do). The outdoor pool will be open for the summer. The disappointment comes from the indoor pool that is only accessible at certain hours, limited to 2 hours for a cost of 16€ per person. When you travel with two kids that is a very high cost to add or a big disappointment. Fortunately the weather allowed us to go to the beach instead. This is not clear on their website: you have to download the SPA MENU to get the price-list, the minimum being the "Circuito Acuatico" = 16€. I therefore gives only 3 stars because of this commercial issue.

friendly hotel in excellent location
Reviewed By Lisa WThe Isla Nova is in a perfect location just 50m from the beautiful beach in Foz with sea views from some rooms. The rooms themselves were a good size, the beds comfortable (though new pillows would be nice..mine was a bit flat) and the shower excellent. Continental style breakfast was included and the staff were all really friendly and helpful.

Great apartment and restaurant
Reviewed By Mark HThe apartment (#IV) was great; plenty of space, clean, nicely decorated and well equipped. The garden is a nice place to sit in the evening and is equipped with barbecues. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The restaurant is not cheap but is worth every penny - amazing food! The bar has a nice terrace. The location is excellent for exploring the coastal areas. I honestly can't think of a single criticism! I would definitely return when visiting Galicia again.

Stones walls and wood details The passage of the time stand out the massive volume of this village house of XIX century. Decorated in her inside with good style and simplicity, here everything invites you to the calm and peace of spirit. A large garden with a country state of 10.000 meters it’s around this house giving you privacy to her front and yard. Natural juice, jams, always with home-made and fresh fruit at the breakfast.

Reviewed By virsaiz2013This house is a classic for our family, and we try to visit it once a year. We love all of it. The house is extremely well maintained, with all details, beautiful antique furniture and very clean. As usual Manuela and Juan Carlos make you feel at home, with very homemade food, and making the best of your visit. We all enjoyed the new Argentinian style bbq and the big jacuzzi with incredible views. The house enjoys the best location to explore the area, including Playa Las Catedrales. We also enjoyed their new property at Finca Galea, with an amazing walk around the 6 acres learning about nature with Emilio, who is an expert in old trees.

Reviewed By JLPrgAfter two to three years we desided to revisit the Finca Goleta. Well, we were not disapointed! Under the same ownership the attention to detail is unsurpassed. A pastoral place that is worth a visit and a long stay.

No cobran por mascotas en nuestro caso 2 mini pincher. PD: En general la habitación necesita arreglos como la mampara del baño, persiana,mandos tv. Y modernización. No es agradable que huela a humedad. Yo no volvería y si tuviese que hacerlo por una noche,no más.

Reviewed By EconoomenExcellent location with nice views but there are a number of dissatisfiers: - Only 2 rooms have twin beds. Asked for in advance for 4 of us but did not receive any reaction and ended up with only one. - Room walls are extremely thin and make the establishment absolutely noisy. Woke up my wife in the night because I thought she was snoring but it turned out to be the neighbour in the adjacent room! - Lady of the house is more focussed on earning money and efficency than on hospitality. Charged us 5 euro for additional blanket and was not really helpful. - Breakfast is rather poor and certainly not continental: no egg, meat or any cheese.
