Hampton Inn of Dunn is a five story, interior hotel that offers 120 well appointed guest rooms and serves a daily hot complimentary breakfast. Guest rooms offered: two queens, king standards, king study, and king suites. We are 100% non-smoking. The hotel is located at the intersection of US Hwy 421 and I-95 at Exit 73. Just 7 miles south of the intersection of I-95 and I-40. Parking lot is adjacent to and/or shared by Sagebrush Steakhouse, Exxon Station, and Burger King. Campbell University is located just west on US HWY 421 about 11 miles. Dunn offers Civil War Museum / Battlefield. Walking trails and parks.

Reviewed By Debbie MHotel staff is friendly and accommodating. Rooms are dated and small, there are no in room amenities for the amount of money charged. No microwave in the room, refrigerator that doesn’t cool, uncomfortable beds and pillows. It appears the hotel is renting to locals, drunks stumbling around, very shady guest, parking is a nightmare. I witnessed two separate people at different times coming into the hotel carrying large plastic totes. That’s scary by itself! This will be my last time EVER staying here. Doesn’t feel safe for female travelers.

Reviewed By lkwr97From check in to check out…the service was extraordinary! The nicest and most helpful staff. The front desk lady made fresh coffee for us! Then even packed us up a breakfast to go! The cleaning crew worked very hard everyday. Rooms were great! Very clean! Excellent stop!

Reviewed By chris34711Everything is pretty good with my stay so far, I think the breakfast could be more inclusive. So far it’s just a waffle maker and cereal. Other than that there could be more seating in the rear of the building but that’s about it.

Leaking sink - moldy smell - no internet
Reviewed By dezydameOn our Way up we stayed at Baymont Smithfield (wonderful stay) but i the way down we tried this property- (terrible experience, plus more costly) The pipe under sink was leaking, so the floor under vanity was soak in wet and full of mold. When you ran the water, it ran out onto where you were standing. I had to put towels there, so my feet would not get wet. Girl behind desk didn’t understand English- kept saying “sorry” never adjusted price of room charge

Reviewed By Netgain2The hotel room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. It was easy to get on and off of I95. It was confusing as to where the front desk is when you first walk in, since you walk through the dining area. The check in person was okay but the checkout desk person was much nicer. The breakfast was a big disappointment. There was no fruit or any other healthy options. They had yogurt but with 4 teaspoons of sugar in a small container, I wouldn’t call it healthy. They had frozen egg sandwiches which were not good. This hotel’s breakfast was subpar compared to other Comfort Inns I’ve stayed in. The cleanliness of the room is the most important factor for me, and that’s why I rated a 4.

Gross and a huge let down
Reviewed By taibacaniWe booked an accessible room. This room was not accessible and had no shower chair. The blankets had burn marks and it smelled very badly. The bathroom door looked like someone had locked an animal in there. The front door did not close property. Everything was dirty and felt very unsafe. Please do not make a reservation here.

My kids told me to leave!! Wore my tennis shoes and would not touch the carpet. Please read reviews I was driving and wasn’t able to do so because we would NOT have stayed here.

A LUXURY STEP BACK IN TIME
Reviewed By Ontour4444This is a wonderful B+B. The owners cater to their guests and live in the house that has been updated and filled with antiques. The beds are new and comfortable as well as the linens. Guests have access to the house and the many rooms. Huge swimming pool for your use. Breakfast was extra special and served in the large dining room. If you are travelling on I-95 and can stop at Dunn, NC., this is a great place to spend the night in luxury.
