We were welcomed by a lovely lady who was friendly and helpful. It’s in a great location also. Highly recommend staying here.

Will never recommend this accomodation

Reviewed By 5suzyq1954

I booked this accomodation straight off their website in December for February. We since changed our itinerary and stayed elsewhere in Tasmania for those nights. I thought I had cancelled this booking as I have cancelled others. My mistake entirely. On the day we were to arrive the premises tried to call me and found the number they had was not connected. Again my mistake as I must have typed it wrong. I make no excuse for my mistakes. When they couldn’t ring me they waited and much later in the day/evening emailed me to which I responded by phone call straight away. They should have sent the email as soon as they found out they couldn’t contact me by phone. They told me the6 were full that night and had turned people away so they charged me one nights accomodation for something I didn’t use. They would have still had time to book out that room if they had so many enquires. We have been in Tasmania 10 nights now and every other accomodation I have booked has emailed me 2 days before saying my stay is coming up. We have never missed one of them and it certainly isn’t in my nature to book something and not turn up. I asked the accomodation to reconsider and even meet me half way. Their answer was “ we will not reconsider , we were fully booked.” They also said if they weren’t full booked they wouldn’t have charged. And it was over $200 per night. This has left a sour taste in my mouth. We have had a death in the family which has left my brain a little frazzled so I’m not trying to say I didn’t make this mistake. I just wish people would be more understanding of others circumstances. Very very disappointed

Check-in efficient and friendly and we were soon into our room which was clean and spacious and with all required facilities for self catering. Good bathroom area and virtually instantaneous hot water from the shower. A little noisy overhead with other guests. Great location with the ocean over the highway and easy access to a number of nearby eateries. Recommended.

Character home with lovely decoration. Only $165 as bathroom needs a make over. It is still pleasant. Close to water in a semi industrial area. 5 Hale St. You don't know which property you are staying in until the day. Pick your key up from a locked box at the home. Nice and easy. Left laundry powder and pegs which is considerate. Highly recommend.

We stayed here for our 29th wedding anniversary and were given a free upgrade which was very nice of owners. The entire apartment was very well set out and extremely comfortable. Lots of thoughtful touches too like complimentary breakfast, toiletries etc. The spa bath was an added bonus. I personally loved the size of the shower. The only downside was the noise in front bedroom but we did expect this. Colin was great upon arrival and made us both feel very welcome.
