I met a friend here for lunch recently as it is a good central place to meet. I chose the chicken chapatti and fries and my companion chose the battered fish and chips and salad. Our meals arrived promptly. My chicken chapatti was abit like a focaccia with some salad and grilled chicken with a serve of crispy fries served in a miniature deep fryer basket.(love it!) Very tasty and filling. My companion loved her crispy battered fish and crunchy fries and fresh garden salad. Our waitress was very friendly and extremely efficient. The menu is ample for a café. Café Europa is very reasonably priced for a tasty lunch. We were lucky to get a table when we did as halfway through our meal I noticed that the place was packed, I am glad we arrived when we did. A great place to eat for lunch in central Burnie.

Wednesdays is our most popular day as we really enjoy the Parmi/Schnitzel Special..
Lunch or tea.. and you have your choice from the bain marie of fresh salads for lunch
and tea choose from the salads AND freshly baked selected vegetables....
crunchy chips and gravy included...we reckon this is pretty hard to beat,
see for yourself!!!!...only at the Mallee Grill in Burnie.

Ordered "the lot" and a pepperoni family size for four adults. Sizes were just right and flavours were really enjoyable. When we picked them up (No home Delivery disappointingly) the restaurant was full and when you walked in it smelt amazing. Setting was reminiscent of old style family owned Italian restaurants.

Restaurant overlooking the sea. Service friendly and efficient. Excellent choice on the menu, and there is a light choice menu for lunch. We chose from this menu and it was certainly enough for a meal. Food was fresh and hot made from quality ingredients. Reasonably priced. Surroundings pleasant and great view out to the sea. A very pleasant place to have a meal.

Delivered the best fish and chips we’ve had for a while.
Blue eye Trevalla was thick, juicy and perfectly coated in a light tempura batter.
Small serve of chips was plenty for two, good size proper chips not those awful skinny “fries”
Topped off with a perfect salad of sweet potato, spinach and feta.
Well done Fish Frenzy for providing healthy options at very good prices.
Staff are friendly and provide good table service. Perfect location too, magnificent ocean view and plenty of Seating.
Our new favourite in Burnie.

We had a lovely lunch. Large tastey servings.. the chef came out and welcomed us..we shared an entree platter for 4. Very nice..i enjoyed a penang chicken curry. And afterwards a black rice dessert.
And a lovely touch. All the mums recieved a lovely elephant keyring. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Staff were more than friendly .. well priced. We shall return..

I have travelled past Leonardoz several times but had never gone in up until now. Well, I am so glad I did. The décor is very classy with a vintage and modern twist. My companion and I decided to share some dishes as we were lucky enough to see the generous portions before we ordered. We ate the sweet potato wedges with aioli dressing and an enormous serving of salt and pepper calamari that was incredibly tender and was served on a delightful Asian salad with a gorgeous, tasty dressing. The menu is only small but includes some excellent dishes. Leonardoz also serve takeaways such as healthy wraps, sushi and a variety of yummy cakes and slices. The service was very good and the staff very efficient considering how busy they were. I can't wait to dine here again. Definitely a huge asset to Burnie!

Excellent range of fresh fish cooked to order including locally caught sea scallops.Served by friendly and obliging staff with smiles. We have purchased our evening meal here twice in the last few days and all has exceeded expectations.The Gummy Shark is best followed by Sea Trout and Pink Ling..very recommendable..
