Pleasant and relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings.
Reviewed By piaczkaWe stayed in a pleasant and quiet room at the hotel, had a generous breakfast in the building opposite and spent the afternoon swimming and lazing in the thermal pools after driving through the beautiful Valle de Ricote. The whole place has a slightly old world feel to it which we enjoyed. The staff very kindly sent me my reading glasses which I had left in the bedroom. I would stay there again.

Unexpected lovely day out in the mountains
Reviewed By Rachel158We went on the off chance that we could get a massage here. The spa part of the hotel was clean and staff very friendly. We had to buy head caps for the pools and a locker key and padlock which you take away with you. We booked a couples full body massage for 50 minutes use if the outside pool and the Thermal pool All pools were not too busy and a really lovely temperature. Lots of different water pumps to hit different areas of your body. We spent a good couple of hours in and out if the pools then had lunch which was ok...chips were a bit cold. We went for our massage and it felt a bit rushed. When I went outside I looked at the clock and we'd only had 25 minutes. Bit disappointed. However we then had time in the different pools inside which ranged from a pool full of lemons to a hot then cold pool. There are also a steam room and sauna. Total cost for a good 4 hours was £133 for both of us.

Disappointing!
Reviewed By 77ScotOn the plus side, the hotel was spotless and the staff friendly. Unfortunately this is not a 4* hotel. There is no seating in the public area and the bar had virtually no drinks to choose from. In fact when we came in after a meal in a local restaurant at 9:40 the door to the bar area was locked! Our friends who chose this hotel because of the spa were offered two times —12-1 and 7-8. They were very disappointed.

Exceptional stay in Archena
Reviewed By AmsetusI stayed at Archybal Apartamentos in 2015 and am happy to say they are under the same excellent management. This time we had a bigger room with capacity for 4 persons, with a huge terrace balcony. Everything in the apartment is top notch, the details in the kitchen, closets and bathroom are comparable to a 5 star hotel. The cherry in the cake is a subterranean garage for your car with your own remote control for entry and exits. Bonus is your own laundry washer! Location is very convenient, there is a restaurant at the lobby but also there are others nearby. If you prefer to use your full kitchen there are supermarkets in the area. .

Hotel León, like the other hotels, counts with indoor direct access to the spa. It has a total of 117 rooms distributed over 3 floors, with fully-equipped bathrooms, telephone, heating, air conditioning and Sat-TV with international channels.It has an entrance hall with a reception area open 24-hours, currency change service, lift and buffet restaurant. Other services are available such as laundry service, medical assistance (at an additional cost) and bicycle hire.Next to the main hall the function event & celebration room is found, with a maximum capacity of 400 people.
Spa visit to Hotel Leon Balnearios Archena
Reviewed By OT-LohjaWe booked a room in one of Balnearios Archena’s hotels, Leon, to spend a nice afternoon in their spa after driving 1,5 hours there. When we checked in, only then did we find out, we were told that the biggest part of Balenarios Archena’s spa is closed because of renowations. Only the heated outside pool was for us to use, going there and especially out of there was chilly. Nor washing after the pool was not easy, difficult to find a shower. When showering I had to stand in soapy water. It is a pity that Balnearios spoil their good reputation, the facilities, the scenere otherwise are very nice. The rooms are the same after 10 years, no changes.

Reviewed By Beiker127Estuvimos en Semana Santa, la ubicación del Hotel/Hostal es ideal pues estás en el centro de Archena y con muchos servicios al lado. Calidad-precio está muy bien. Fuimos en familia, 13 personas con niños incluidos, Serafín un hombre entrañable, cercano, comprensivo nos hizo todo muy fácil, comprendiendo las circunstancias de niños pequeños y tan gran familia. Aunque el hotel/hostal no dispone de servicio de restaurante, está tan bien ubicado que tienes tanto bar como cafetería - pastelerías a 3 minutos. Solo le pondría el inconveniente de las escaleras que si llevas equipaje un tanto voluminoso al no disponer de ascensor te cuesta un poco. Pero por lo demás para alojarse,tener un lugar para dormir, descansar es recomendable 100%. Volveremos. Gracias Serafín por tanta amabilidad.

Reviewed By Allyson SThe host was very kind. She quickly switched my room when the first one smelled like smoke. But it was too close to the street, loud with the window open, sparse. The bed wasn't comfortable. Too many pieces of furniture in the small room.

Reviewed By ibotnariVery clean and fully equiped aparts. We had a family apart with kitchen. Great!! We had 2 bedrooms and a quite spacios salon with american kitchen. A table with chairs and a confortable sofa. Big fridge. All of us where very surprised with the good servise and the quality of the apartments. If I'll ever come back to archena I will book this aparts. As well this city has good spas, I haven't been but I heard.
