Reviewed By moggy1511Could not fault this amazing hotel, totally beautiful and spotlessly clean. Great location, 10 mins walk from the strip and plenty more restaurants and bars closer. The staff were all polite and friendly, food was plentiful and lots of choice. Entertainment team were fantastic and full of energy. Top marks from us x

Reviewed By Sara MWe are a family of 4 just back from a wonderful holiday in the Alfagar village .Would totally recommend it to anyone young or old.The resort is very well maintained and looks fantastic. We had a sea view apartment which was perfect for our needs. A very short stroll to a beautiful beach.The mini market is adequate and there is a Spar just across the road.. The 2 nearest restaurants to the Alfagar are Portobello and Restaurant Martins ,both less than a 5 min walk. Would definitely plan to return next summer Absolutely loved it.

First time to Portugal
Reviewed By cathprice_1This was a lovely hotel. We were surprised by how large our self catering apartment was and it was kept very clean daily. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. It was a great base for us to explore Portugal with our hire car - parking no problem. It is in walking distance of the more lively old town and beaches, but we liked the fact it was in a quieter area itself. We didn't really use the pools as we tended to go off to the beaches in the day, but they all looked great.

Long awaited holiday
Reviewed By 59stepstoheavenHotel clean, we had a 1 bedroom and it was large enough. Cleaners there every day except Sunday not always the same one or at the same time. Area is great close to bars and restaurants. Taxis good value for money. Only real problem we had with this hotel was the people reserving sun beds at 6am and not actually using them until around 3.00pm. Also while we were there a hen party checked in, although website states no stag or hen parties allowed! The rooms are not soundproofed and you can here everything including the next door shower being switched on. We did enjoy our holiday despite the issues raised but would not return to this hotel.

I'm a professional sales person going on 38 years of business travel, and although this was a personal visit, I know what good facilities, service, and quality is in the hospitality industry. The room I had was actually an apartment! It was spacious, well stocked, and above all clean! This is also an 'all inclusive' hotel so my meals and happy hour (beer and wine) were also included. It was EPIC! There's a grocery store within a block so anything you need can be had here. The people were all very friendly, they spoke plenty of English and I never felt bad about not being able to speak their beautify Portuguese language. I can't recommend this hotel high enough. Special 'shout out' to Cassia at the front desk for helping me each day. Oh! and the price is fabulous! The value for your money here is killer! You want to stay here!!!

Reviewed By catoshanWe are just finished a week here , a family of 4 ( 2 adults and 2 teenagers ) - a very positive experience. We had a pool view with balcony apartment . Very spacious and clean. Good air con . Despite being close to pool, restaurant etc it was not noisy at all . Cleaned every day with fresh towels . Food In hotel restaurant was very nice . Location was good as it was in a relatively quiet area with a 15 min walk to the old town and a 15 min walk to the strip . Nearby supermarket if anything needed . There was construction in the neighbourhood but we did not notice any noise from it . Couldn’t find any faults worth mentioning .

Reviewed By trevort694Couldn't fault this hotel what's so ever. Great location but still need to climb up 100 steps every time you return from the town. We arrived about 11 o'clock and was told our room wasn't ready and to return at 1 o'clock. We returned to reception at at about 1.30 and was told it wouldn't be ready until 3. We had a little moan and all of a sudden both rooms were now available. We booked two rooms one with sea view and one without but we both ended uphaving sea views on level 5. Rooms were both very nice and very clean ( maybe slightly dated) had a full kitchen and dining area and a lounge which we didn't use . TV in lounge but couldn't get any English speaking channels although my daughter could get Sky News channel. All the hotel areas were kept very clean and pleasant. Sun beds were reserved by guest but not at a ridiculous time and when ever we came back from a walk we could always find two beds even if it was in their sister hotels across the road. We had breakfast on our first morning ( €9.50 each )and was all very nice The great thing about this hotel we thought was the prices of food and drink, they were so reasonable and as cheap as eating in town ( beer €2.50 ) good quality bar food . Need to update the safes though, when you pay the extra for a safe your given a barrel and key and every time you want to open the safe you have to remove the barrel. It's about time they updated to digital safes. Brilliant hotel, brilliant location and brilliant staff , congratulations to you all

Reviewed By Q2466HEpaulhWhat a beautiful place. Very clean. Very accommodating. Staff were so polite, courteous and helpful. Pool pretty much to ourselves. Close to pubs, restaurants etc. Short walk to the bay and restaurants on the front. One lady complained our music was too loud (?) but the guy on reception was really cool in dealing with it. We will return no doubt.

Reviewed By Kevin AVery clean and spacious apartment for two. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. The bar has limited outside seating which was very disappointing on a lovely warm evening. Pool is large but get there early as beds are taken up very quickly. The restaurant is very reasonably priced. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill and getting to the old town is a bit of a trek.

Abrupt receptionist
Reviewed By william cWe were booked in to the eirasol for over a year .so we got dropped off at the apartments, and went to the reception and ask which apartment we were in and told them our name at that the receptionist was very abrupt and said we weren't booked in that apartments and through us out and locked the main doors so we could not get back in.so we phoned Loveholidays and they got intouch with eirasol and found out that they had rented our apartment to someone else. And left us with no apartment and they weren't bothered. So Loveholidays said they were going to get our money back off eirasol apartments. And then Loveholidays put use in Oura Senses apartments with in 2 hours which was a hundred times better than eirasol apartments and the staff are excellent anything you want they get you. I would not recommend eirasol apartments to anyone
