We drive to and from Portugal from the U.K. twice a year, normally we stay in hotels but decided to try something different this trip.. How lucky to stubble on this beautiful place ! Highly recommend for everyone. We got there for dinner and went to the restaurant. It cost around €24 each for the buffet and unlimited drinks including wine and beer !!!! The man on the desk on entering the restaurant was so lovely. He later saw me waiting for a drink and came over and served me, I don’t actually think it was his job to but as the waiter was busy he helped.. the staff are very friendly and kind. The food was so delicious and all fresh. The choice of food is large with gorgeous salads and pastas great for vegetarians.. massive thank you to your lovely business and well done for having such a great team. We will see you later in the year. P.S they are dog friendly x

This could be an excellent site but unfortunately it needs some TLC. Lovely pool and things for kids to play on. Our bungalow had no bedding or towels and no hot water. Eventually 7 hours after arriving we were moved to a place with hot water and they brought us towels and bedding. Place a little run down and grubby,no tea towel or corkscrew! Wouldn’t stay here again, Ibis Hotels for us and cheaper.

Not suitable for heavy vehicles

We arrived at the site with our Fifth Wheeler and was told we could easily park it anywhere on the site. So we paid for 3 nights even though the price was extort. We have been travelling around Portugal for 5 months and this was by far the most expensive. The site is very big but not suitable at all for heavy outfits. The only 2 hardstanding surfaces (which was actually car parking spaces for the bungalows )were already taken. We were ready to go and request a refund when we found a little slip road which we could use as the site was extremely quiet due to it being out of season. Use of the washing machine was also expensive. 5€ for 5kg. All of the machines on other sites we have visited take a load of 7kg and the average price being 3.50€. Orbitur should definitely look at their price structure. This was the first Orbitur site we have stayed on during our 5 months of travelling but this experience has not made it conducive to visit another Orbitur campsite.

Bukubaki Eco Surf Resort

Just one hour from Lisbon, there is an enchanted forest of pine trees and eucalyptus, with stilt tree houses and tents planted under their canopy. The tree branches are letting through just enough light to create a magical atmosphere in the daylight, yet uncovering the stars in the beautiful night sky. The sound of the wind is intertwining with the roar of the ocean, and the scent of pine resin blending with the salt. Ecologically committed accommodation including Tree houses and Canadian Rooms, is based on the principles of sustainability without compromising the comfort appreciated by our most exigent guests. Bukubaki is the perfect place for active families and adventurous people, who are looking for some new experiences and mindful activities that allow the self discovery. All our guests can benefit from a free private parking: both open (inside of the resort) and covered (in front of the resort).

We had to cancel our booking in little houses, but luckily was for free and we could book a bungalow, which was really nice. Location also cool, very close to the beach, must be amazing to spend summer vacation in this camping. Highly recommend! Only thing is that wifi was not reachable in the bungalow, dunno why. Besides this, everything is so cool. Stuff extremely nice and helpful:)

Peacrful site. We went glamping and the safari tents were very complete. Warm water wasn't working very well. We asked for breakfast. It had lots of choice but very little ham and cheese, as well as bread.. Pool is small but good. Nice playground and very welcoming owners.

We were there during early season with lots of open spaces so it was very nice - staff was exceptionally nice and helpful, pitches were large and abundant. Might be different in high season though the staff said they are rarely fully booked - good location
