The best available Bed and Breakfast Inns to stay near Valencian Country

April 26, 2023 Natalie Tallman

Comprising the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellon, Valencian Country basks on the Mediterranean Coast in central southeastern Spain. The densely populated area is a prime tourist destination, with Valencia city having the reputation as the place the Spanish go to party. The area offers budget resorts, such as those on the Costa Blanca, to upscale villas in elegant Valencia. Small villages are scattered through the mountainous inland region, but it's the coast that remains the main draw.

Despite I have an email stating they recalled the transfer. They are thieves!!! The way I have been treated as a customer is disgraceful . I will continue to fight this which I have been for a month It’s exhausting and time consuming but I will not give up the BIT is between my teeth. So be warned avoid this property!!

Simply the best

Reviewed By LMJBath

We weren't sure whether to choose a big hotel on the beach or an intimate boutique hotel in the Old Town. The decision came down to being around the Old Town in the evenings as we wanted to be around the history of the town. Our decision was the best. This hotel is a gem. The rooms are unique and comfortable. Super mattresses and a very good night's sleep. The staff are attentive and welcoming without being overbearing. You feel very special. The rooftop terrace was a magical spot. Someone has created a grotto up there and it has a great essence. And this is where we had our substantial and very tasty breakfast each morning. Simply wonderful.

Incompetent Management, Uncomfortable Beds, Sewer Smell

Reviewed By Phillip S

I do not recommend this place. Only positives are the breakfast and rooftop bar. We did not feel safe at Bed and Breakfast La Milagrosa, the condition of the room was very poor, and we were disrespected by multiple members of the staff including Alejo and Juan Carlos. We stayed for 3 nights encountered the following issues: 1) We got the 'Superior' room. The heating was not working on the first night and we informed the reception. They offered a very small heater as a temporary solution (which was only suitable for a very small room like a bathroom) while they got someone else to come look at it. No one ever came and the heating never worked. 2) The room had a very strong sewage smell that would not go away. We told the staff multiple times and again, only offered a small air odour removal device (which did not work) as temporary solution. We slept with the odour for 2 nights and after many arguments were finally offered a different room for the final night of our stay. 3) One night there were two drunk men yelling right next to my window. I came out to see what was going on and they were quite aggressive. I let staff know about this and they just said that noise was expected and that the weekend was just going to be worse. While I understand that being in a central location comes with some noise, I would have expected the staff to take this issue more seriously because it felt like a threat to my personal safety. I have attached some photos to give you an idea of how close they were. 4) After deciding it was all too much, we talked to the staff about getting a refund. Everyone at reception said it was possible, and that they would have to speak to the Manager about it and then call us back. After over a week without an outcome, we decided to call the hotel. No one is picking up the phone and instead we got a text saying it is not possible without any explanation. The staff has been ignoring our calls since then. We tried to resolve all the issues above with the staff so we could move on and enjoy the holiday, but the responses have always been rude and evasive.

Good hotel with a perfect view (make sure to book with sea view), average clean. Great value for money!! Recommend it for a short stay in the city. The room wasn’t very hot as the only source of heating was air conditioning. The staff was very helpful and kind. I don’t if there is a better deal next to the say.

We have booked the hotel for it's location as we were going to MotoGP last weekend. It's not what we expected as the hotel is not typical (definitely not for families) however we enjoyed it very much. We stayed in the suite which was massive with very comfortable bed, Jacuzzi in the room and marble floors.Room was very clean and serviced daily! Yes, there is no restaurant but room service was very quick with good selection on meals. It's perfect place for romantic get away. Would I come back...oh yes!

Original Domino House

A cute little hotel with, I think, just 20 rooms. Good-sized rooms, clean and tidy, well decorated with an individual style. They have bikes to hire and coffee and snack vending machines. No restaurant, but rooms have fridges and there are a couple of supermarkets, and plenty of cafes within a few hundred yards. The only point that let it down was the thickness of the wall between our room (402) and next door. Luckily, it didn't seem to be occupied for most of our stay but we could hear every word of his phone calls, every time he received a text message, and every time he zipped or unzipped his case (which was, oddly, a lot). Presumably hear could hear us too! Even so, I would return.
