Vista Las Olas Surf Resort is a Beach-Front, secluded and private getaway next to "Las Flores" Break, that overlooks the beautiful Pacific Ocean located on the eastern coast of El Salvador, 2 hours from the capital city of San Salvador in the region of San Miguel. Our place is adjacent to the quaint cozy fishing village of the town of El Cuco. This is truly where time stands still with the sounds of the waves crashing beneath your views and the cool ocean breezes blowing through your hair. As you walk along the beach or visit this little fishing village, you will notice that everyone you see has a beautiful smile on their face willing to embrace and show you their country. The people of El Salvador are very warm and inviting people with a big heart. You will find that El Salvador is truly a “Country with a Smile”.
Excellent hotel
Reviewed By armalli2We stayed at Vista Las Olas toward the end of our 10 day visit to El Salvador. After seeing several other accommodations throughout El Salvador I can say this is definitely one of the nicest in the country. The hotel itself is beautiful, set between the ocean and the beautiful jungle. We stayed in the room directly in front of the pool, we knew there would be less privacy this way (our curtains had to stay closed the whole time to not have our whole room exposed to all the guests) but that was fine as the room was very convenient for our two kids who swam a great majority of the time. The room had one small window with a screen, but everything else was just glass and had to be closed. Not a complaint but just something to note if you’re expecting to hear the waves crashing with your windows open at night, this won’t happen. A/C in the room worked great. Something to note, especially if you’re used to American hotels, this is El Salvador, this is the jungle, there are bugs. Bring bug repellent. If you’re looking for a hotel with N. American cleanliness and N. American standards, look in the US. The restaurant was around the corner from the rooms and up a set of stairs. While the prices are high for El Salvador, the service was excellent and so was the food. Everything we ordered was top notch. There are rocky stairs (wear shoes) to the side of the resort that lead down to the beach. When the tide is high you can still access a medium sized crescent beach at the bottom of the stairs. When the tide is low you can walk the whole length of the beach in front of the hotel all the way down to other hotels. The beach is public but not crowded at all. The town of El Cuco is about .5 mile walk from the hotel. We walked there a couple of times and had some icecream and some pupusas. El Cuco is a small fishing village, a mix of traditional El Salvador and touristy El Salvador. The hotel offered a service to have a driver drive us to San Miguel to take our covid tests we needed to re-enter the states. The driver was very professional and nice, the car was clean and safe. We also arranged to be driven to the airport on our departure day and again had a nice, clean, safe experience. Our whole experience was excellent, all of the staff we encountered was professional and very nice. We will definitely be visiting again.

Hotel Miraflores is located at the east coast of El Salvador. Just in front of the ocean, with a great view. The hotel has 5 rooms, a restaurant, pool, showers, sundeck, massages, transportation, parking and we offer all kind of tours. Our room rate starts at $65. Reviewed By Jeremy HFirst off the hospitality was amazing and kind. The food was great at every meal. The rooms are rooms you hardly spend time in so people complaining of internet and no hot water? Maybe vacation isn’t your thing! Short walk to town and the best part is the veranda with hammocks, pool, and absolutely gorgeous views!! The walk to the beach is a mere 189 steps and it is hardly crowded. A very local vibe which is what our family always looks for. We could have stayed in our own resort town back in the states if we wanted Americanized vacation. A must stay while you are in El Salvador.

A lovely resort on the best stretch of beach

A beautiful 12 room resort right on one of the nicest stretches of beach in Central America. You can walk for hours on a barely inhabited beach and watch fishermen bring in their catch from beyond the breaking waves. The rooms are clean, and the food is outstanding, from the fried fish to the shrimp ceviche to the grilled prawns to the tasty breakfasts. Sit on the balcony or rest in a hammock up above the waves. A friendly, attentive staff and a committed management team make you look forward to your next visit.

Amazing place
Reviewed By 641jasminarWe stayed here for two nights in October and we had a blast. The staff is so friendly, the views are absurd and the food is delicious. It doesn’t hurt that they have a property dog named Paradise that roams the property. She is as cute as can be. Would stay here again! Thank you guys ! Nos quedamos aquí dos noches y la pasamos súper. Los que trabajan aquí son los maximo y son tan amables. Las vistas al océano son perfecta, la habitaciónes limpias y la comida deliciosa. Comfortable hotel with excellent service
Reviewed By MellMalsWe paid for two days and ended up staying a month! The room here is very large and great for a family. The staff is super friendly and will do absolutely anything for you. There is almost as many staff members as there are rooms in this boutique hotel. The beds are really comfy and the AC works great. Everything was very clean. The food in the restaurant is out of this world! I would definitely stay here again! Only one minute walk from the beach and the great surfing makes the location unbeatable.
