Reviewed By uk1theoStayed here during October 2021, and I must admit I found the place a little daunting. Nicely placed in Castelo Branco and loads of Eateries close by with a large selection of Menu's. Strange process on arrival where you see nobody to book you in or discuss anything with. You are sent an door entry code via email before you arrive, on arrival you have to punch in this code on the keypad which eventually opens the main door, then in the same email you are given another code to enter your allocated room. I appreciate we are dealing with Covid-19 and want to remain safe, but imagine and elderly person who is not IT Savvy having to deal with this on arrival............... strange system. The Hotel itself is very nice, rooms are spacious and have excellent facilities including a room fridge and good wifi. Parking is close by and ample. Probably my second choice if I was looking for a place to stay in Castelo Branco

Reviewed By uk1theoGreat place, I was pleasantly please when I arrived, parking was a bit of a pain, it was available locally but was street parking, and a short walk to the Hotel. The Hotel was a pleasant place to be, impressive reception and the Staff were very Covid aware, which gave a good feeling. Rooms were sizable and comfortable, with en suite bathroom. Breakfast was included in the price, and a very nice breakfast, more Continental than 'Full English' but plentiful, fresh and tasty. Think this is shown as a 2* hotel, easily a 3* but overall a really nice place to stay. Handy walk into Castelo Branco. Certainly worth a visit, nicely priced to.

Reviewed By João PAlojamento com instalações novas com pormenor das paredes em granito o congere um ambiente mais rústico e acolhedor. Os quartos têm ar condicionado, frigo-bar, Tv e casa de banho. Há uma cozinha totalmente equipada para preparar alguma refeição que seja necessária. O aproveitamento do pátio para a zona de fumadores está muito bem conseguido. Localização bastante central, fizemos as deslocações dentro da cidade sempre a pé. Um muito obrigado ao sr Patrício pela disponibilidade e amabilidade.

Reviewed By uk1theoRecently stayed at this 3* Hotel in Castelo Branco and have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the place. It located close to central Castelo Branco, with a good selection of Eateries very close by and ample Car Parking. The rooms are spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed, ample pillows, A/C, great shower, clean towels daily, fitted wardrobe space, just a nice place to be. Each room has a small TV in it with a good selection of TV Channels. Generally I found the Hotel quiet and one really nice thing was there was actually a Receptionist to greet you on arrival, which placed a little normality back into life for a while. Breakfast was a Continental type buffet style breakfast which was adequate. There was a selection of breads/cakes/meats/cheeses/juices/coffees/teas/breakfast cereals, and if you wanted toast even a toaster was supplied along with a microwave oven. Very clean area, spacious and well laid out. Downside of the place was there was no plug in my sink (05), no waste bin in the room and no tea/coffee making facilities, but hey, soon got used to that. I would definitely not hesitate about staying here again, certainly the Best of the Basics.

Reviewed By Muzza DSet in amongst a working cherry orchard this is a unique old farm villa. The hosts were very hospitable encouraging us to attend a locals celebration of the sardine in the nearby village. The following evening we joined them and another couple for dinner on the terrace, great home barbecued meats and local vegetables. The outdoor pool was a bonus and would have been used much more if the weather had plays its part. This Quinta is in a good central location for exploring the highlands of Portugal, some spectacular scenery is nearby. A substantial breakfast is standard We had a really good time based here.

Reviewed By Eunice7890Abbiamo chiamato il proprietario e chiesto prima di arrivare alcune cose sulla stanza e ci ha mentito spudoratamente dicendo ad esempio che c'era l'aria condizionata di cui avevamo bisogno per il gran caldo. Arriviamo la sera e constatiamo quanto il posto sia squallido con vecchio bagno da condividere... le foto non mostrano bene il posto. Così abbiamo subito deciso di trovare un altro posto ma era tardi ed è stato difficile e costoso...
