Good Location from the Motorway
Reviewed By Stuart GWe've stayed here several times before. You know what you're getting with an Ibis hotel. This is a typical example. Nothing special but nothing to fault it. The check-in and check-out has always been very good and very quick. The hotel is a great location for a one-night stop if you're travelling elsewhere through France on the motorway. The in-house Courtepaille is convenient but the food is average at best. Check out the Novotel restaurant as an alternative; or the Euro d'Asie buffet Chinese restaurant a short walk away is a good value alternative (there are a couple of TripAdvisor reviews).

Reviewed By meinirannI stayed here for an overnight stop a few nights ago. It’s in an excellent location, near many different restaurants. The Chinese opposite is particularly good. My room wasn’t particularly big, but it was perfectly adequate. It was a nice comfortable room and I had a peaceful night’s sleep. I’d certainly stay here again.

Reviewed By Tanya SRoom was generally clean just in bathroom behind door there were hairs. Only one extra pillow provided would have been nice to have two as ones provided very poor. Room looked like it had been recently decorated. Staff were very pleasant. Overall a good comfortable stay.

Reviewed By SheilaAnnieWe had to return to UK urgently due to Covid 19 and needed a safe, no nonsense overnight stop. This was just the job. Bertrand on reception could not be more helpful. He offered us the use of the breakfast area for our picnic, found extra pillows & heated up ready meals for other guests. The rooms are small but have everything you need including very welcome tea & coffee making facilities. Its situation is less than salubrious, being in the middle of an industrial estate, but it has secure, gated parking and is well lit. All in all, we could not have hoped for better. Super service at a difficult time.

Reviewed By R0zzlaJust what we wanted - a clean, functional place to lay our heads. The 24 hour check-in means no worries about getting there by a certain time from the UK which is invaluable. Close to the motorway, but far enough away not to be noisy.

Functional, liveable, but disappointing and overpriced.
Reviewed By patchdoyleWe stayed here for one night on the way through to another part of France. We were greeted with a relatively unfriendly welcome, and given a key. On finding our room, we were immediately struck by the stained carpets, and by how tired the room felt. This could be a great little BnB if the rooms were given a bit of a spruce up. The radiator was hanging off the wall, there was a lot of noise outside in the night which kept me awake, and the bed wasn't particularly comfortable. There was some signs of mould on the wall. The biggest issue for me was the price - this was above what I would expect to pay for the average room in a good quality Travelodge in the UK. Short story - if you don't mind paying more than it's worth and the location is important to you, then this will be okay for one or two nights

Typical Novotel but with a nice garden perfect for your pet…. and an overnight stop
Reviewed By David WWe stayed here as it is close to the Autoroute ( 5-10 mts) and we needed a place to break a long journey, and the Novotel was perfect in this respect. It has a huge garden and pool, perfect for a quick pee for your favorite pooch that has set in the car with you all day. Pleasant outdoor seating area, for an apero, good sized and good prepared restaurant, with a wide menu suiting many tastes. Good breakfast… Suprisingly peaceful, parking no problem, €15. Only gripe- some rooms the sun shines right in and they get warm - and the aircon is bad….does not work…..

On request, she offers : wine tourism escapades in the vineyard, theme champagne tasting appetizers (sources, types of grapes / vintage) thematic workshops on cooking and wine to discover french terroir sports coaching for fitness enthusiasts if you wish to complete the delivery. Close of the public transportation, you will appreciate our accommodation for the comfort of the bedding, the outside 5 persons Jacuzzi, the greedy breakfast house, the view on the park and the apéritifs-tasting of champagnes. The suite is perfect for the couples, the travelers solo or of business and families with children.
Horrible evil host...
Reviewed By MavandenhoutThis is the first time I say this - what a horrible evil host. We booked the 2 suites for our stay. One for us and one for our 3 and 5 year old sons. We expected to be able to check in at 15:00 but realised early on that the check-in is not till 17:00. No problem but we asked (various messages for 2 days without reply) if earlier would be possible. The host (Nouria) replied that an earlier check-in was not possible. No problem, we arrived at 16:55 and rang the bell. Reply from Nouria that we have to wait another 15 minutes. We paid GBP 207 for the 2 rooms and after all the chat were disappointed that we had to wait longer but we can accept this. HOWEVER, she made us wait on the road, refused to open the gate to let us wait in the garden / drive way. So we had to stand with 2 young kids on the road until she was willing to open the gate. Once she came out she told me (we had not spoken a word except we said “bonjour” to her) that she doesn’t like my facial expression, that she thinks we are uneducated people (believe me, we are a normal couple) and because of that we cannot stay. We already paid the £207.. She kept shouting and finger pointing and said we had no right to ask to wait in the garden or drive way and had to wait on the street until she was ready to let us in well after 17:00. All this in front of our children. We had to find another hotel after a long drive. Never met such a horrible person before. Awful.
