Reviewed By 511AmandaStayed with my husband and teenage children at this hotel for the Easter break. Reception staff were very welcoming and the rooms modern and clean. Breakfast was good, especially the gorgeous cakes everyday. Location is perfect for exploring the region and only a stones throw away from the beautiful town of Tavira with its array of excellent restaurants and bars. Swimming pool was nice and outside seating areas comfortable and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and certainly stay again. Thank you Don Rodrigues ?

Fantastic boutique hotel in historic town, with a great island beach
Reviewed By Andrew GWe called ahead to advise we were arriving early and Mena was waiting for us. Two lovely bedrooms, one with a rolltop bath. Good air conditioning in rooms, essential in the Algarve in August. Centrally located, minutes' walk from the centre and ferry to the beach. Good breakfast: fresh orange juice, pastries and breads, cheese and meat platter, cut fruit. Beautiful state rooms and sun terrace. Gilao restaurant was great, by the river.

It makes us relax, enjoy, smile! Sofia and her staff are unfailingly helpful, going out of their way to make your stay in Tavira special. The apartments are truly charming and comfortable, each one decorated to preserve the history and gracious style of la quinta. Hear the birds sing, smell the orange blossoms, enjoy the fruit of the gardens at breakfast in front of the fireplace. One of our favorite places anywhere!

Además el desayuno era excelente, y la limpieza y ubicación (en pleno centro de Tavira y cerca de todo) fueron de 10. Ojalá podamos volver pronto?

Nice place but bad management

They knew about the wedding as the mother of the bride came to tell them they will have some guests coming as they were on of the closest place to the wedding party place. And indeed all the rooms were booked by young couples in their 30’ without their children except one room! How on earth the manager accepted another booking for a very nice and young couple! Obviously we were all in the pool chatting when they arrived and later we put a bit of music (low) and had few pizzas and rose wine. It was a really calm chatting evening, no one in the pool, no one drunk... just a bit a relaxing time on the evening before the wedding with the groom. We all had been sent to bed at 10.00pm! Because the owner did not want us to talk... such a shame that because of their mistake : renting a room to a couple outside the wedding while they knew they will be full... we all had to be threaten and sent to bed at 10.00pm... after that we never seen the managers of the hotel again... shame because the place is super nice and room we had was super clean, super bed. But shame that we all had to suffer from the bad management of the owner of this place
