Unprofessional and Inconsiderate

Reviewed By S8532IXbrittanyl

The staff here are inconsiderate and unprofessional . I stayed here for 1 night. After checkout, my credit card was charged 4 times for the amount of someone else’s stay. My trip was pre-paid online before arriving so there was no reason for the hotel to authorize or charge my card for anything other than incidentals. Once I noticed the charges totaling almost $900, I called them immediately and the manager has yet to return my call. The front desk said they caught their mistake and reversed the charges but I had to wait 7 days for my money. The hotel failed to call and notify me of their mistake ahead of time which is totally unprofessional . I won’t be staying here again

Very good stay

Reviewed By JessieB112277

After not being able to find a hotel in or around Atlantic City for under $400 on Labor Day weekend, I found this motel 6 about 25 minutes away. The pictures looked decent and I hoped for the best. I was not disappointed. The check in was quick, and the room was clean, modern, and looked just like the pictures. We had a hot tub in the room, a nice big bed, and a little outside terrace. The motel did not offer room amenities such as microwave, alarm clock, or shampoo. But as we only needed a place to sleep, this was no problem. Very happy with this choice, it was quiet and comfortable.

Less Than Perfect

A friend and I on a budget were attracted to the low price of the room. Needless to say you get what you pay for. The room was very dark and showed many signs of wear and tear. The bathroom corners and around the tub looked like they were never cleaned. The curtains were worn and some of the clips were not holding them onto the rods so there were gaps. The back of the entrance door had some very strange marks on it and there was a hole in the lower right hand corner allowing daylight right in the room. We had read the reviews before booking so we brought our own linens which made us feel better. If you can get past the place being run down it does have some positive features. The location is good. near many restaurants and there was a nice beach about 2minutes away. The staff was very friendly and made the best coffee I have ever had at a continental breakfast served daily. The pool and the area around it were well maintained,

We needed a place to stay for a nearby family reunion- this was the only option for a 2 night stay.

The motel was absolutely depressing. It seemed for 320$ for 2 nights, the manger/proprietor should do more to make it appealing for the customers The rug was disgusting in the room, the sheet had blood stain on it, the room smelled of cigarettes and mold. The room was dark and depressing. The other guests in next room were smoking and flicking their butts all over. (Really- it's the 21st century- isnt smoking in hotel establishments not allowed??) Trash and yuck behind hotel, and the pool had old hair extensions in them..ewwwww! Owner knocked on dorr at 9:30 am, called us on the phone- and kept asking when we are leaving?? Shame on the establishment for not doing more- especially for those clientele who make this their family vacation. We were able to get a refund for 2nd night thru Travelocity.

Amazing motel room

Reviewed By Q838AGrichardt

I had a wonderful time staying here. A short mini-vacation. ( 2 days)…..but had lots of fun in the pool with my son and grandson. We had a delicious dinner at the Crab Trap, right next door to Pier 4. A trip to Ocean City is just a right hand turn out the driveway and your on the bridge. I enjoyed it all. There is a comp breakfast every day,…and you can order food to be delivered to your room. I forgot to mention,…..there is a food stand right next to the pool. I had the crab bites (5) for lunch, they were very good,…and for dinner that evening, I tried their super burger. It was one of the best hamburger I’ve ever eaten. The place next door to the pool area is called Crabby-Jacks. I will definitely be coming back to Pier 4 . Oh I forgot to mention,….at night time the view overlooking the bay is just beautiful,…..lights under the bridge, People have their boating docks all lit up…it was a sight to see. I rate this place a 5 star.

Loved the view but not the food

Reviewed By misty00115

The location is breathtaking right on the bay. They are understaffed this year like most resturants but our waiter was attentive and kept checking in. Drinks and apps were slow coming out but dinners took a while and we're not hot when delivered. Filet was very good as were the scallops. The crab cake cake is very large but has a lot of filler so not a favorite. The entrees are expensive and the portions are small. Garlic mashed potatoes was the starch of the night and they were good but served with a very small serving of green beans. Maybe drinks and apps is the best approach here.

Do not come here. Rude employees, dirty rooms, bugs everywhere.

Reviewed By SMitchell1975

Went there this this past week with my boyfriend for a little get away. The manager John I think was his name smelled of liquor and cigarettes and was one of the rudest people I have met. Said I can only pay with cash and got very weird vibes off him. It was a long trip so decided to stick it out and just stay for the night. Had marks all over my body the next morning from either dirty sheets or bugs. The shower was filled with mold. I will rather sleep in my car then ever come back to this place. DO NOT COME HERE, go to anywhere else.
