The setting of this hotel is outstanding. Views for miles and easy access to other nearby sights in Sintra. The owners were helpful and eager to please. The building itself was a little run down in places, but it can be hard to maintain property in the face of coastal weather. The rooms all varied quite a bit in size and style, but were for the most part roomy and comfortable. Air conditioning was hit or miss. My room was on the backside of the hotel, meaning there was no direct access to the lobby/dining area. Unfortunately, when I tried to prop the window open to enjoy the cool night air, there was an unpleasant smell from just outside that kept wafting in. Otherwise my room was well appointed, has incredible views and plenty of space. Parking was limited, but given that it is a smaller hotel, it was never an issue. The food at breakfast was good. For location, setting and service I would give it 5 stars. For food, condition and other factors I would give it 3 stars.

Can I move here, please?

We stayed 3 nights in the Outpost in March. The weather was not great, but that was hardly an issue. The place is stunning, the view spectacular, the property with its garden, its pool (very refreshing in March), its sauna is quite large overall, larger than it appears on the pictures. The beaches, cliffs and villages around are all worth checking out. All in all: just perfect.

We booked the family room "skate" and loved our (short) stay. The kids loved the pool and a padle court is part of the environment. Only a few minutes walk to the next beach and a beautiful piece of coast. Thanks Sam&team

Stunning hotel with amazing service

We loved our stay at the Chalet O Amorzinho! The views of the ocean (when not foggy) are absolutely spectacular. The coastline for long strolls were extraordinary. The nearby towns for dinner were charming and beautiful. And the service at the Chalet was excellent - they were super helpful and we had the most wonderful room service breakfast on our patio. Would love to come back!
