The 6 best All-inclusives in Florida Keys, United States

April 20, 2023 Terina Blouin

Stretching 126 miles south toward Cuba, the stunning Keys are a perfect escape. Highlights along the way include Key Largo, Islamorada, Marathon, Big Pine Key and the irrepressible Key West. Get up close with an amazing array of fish while snorkeling, diving or fishing in the warm turquoise waters. Creeks, coral and costumed spectacles are other lures along the way. Highway 1 is a spectacular ribbon tying together the islands and atolls of this paradise between the Gulf of Mexico and the Atlantic.

Not worth the money!

We recently stayed here and paid a premium for a "partial ocean view balcony two queen" room. They were correct - it was only a partial view of the ocean. Basically the balcony faced the other building with the ocean at one end and a parking lot at the other. There is no privacy between the balconies, so you are right next to your neighbor with no partition and only a banister between balconies. The chickens are loud. Most of the time all pool lounge chairs were taken. They did have good parking and the black-out shades were great. We also like the Wolfgang Puck Coffee. I just believe that when I'm spending almost $1k per night, I should see more of the ocean and have a bit of privacy. We will not be staying here again.

Best Place to stay in Key West

I belong to a group who meets here twice a year. I've also stayed at other resorts on the island. The location is perfect if you want to be close to all the action. And the rooms are clean and spacious. I think the best part is the care and continuity of staff. They remember and welcome us back every time! And they really go out of their way to make sure the stay is enjoyable and memorable.

5 star service! Had a fab time. Diamond Member upgrade for our anniversary was STELLAR! Nothing bad to say about Bakers Cay. NOTHING. This place is fantastic. A small upscale boutique resort that is amazing. The beach areas are brilliant as is the feeling of resting in the mangrove trees on the water. Service was great. Restaurants were great too. Would not hesitate to return. A shout out to the ENTIRE TEAM for one of best vacations we've ever had.

Nice property but rules are not followed

My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 nights from May 27-30 , for the first time.  We love Key Largo so we stayed there several times in different hotels. The Reefhouse is clean, we liked our room (#204), and the common areas, we compared the Reefhouse to Baker's Cay and Playa Largo resorts , and the service, prices at the bar and the food is better at the Reefhouse ... ... BUT...  on Saturday & Sunday a lot of "guests" from outside the property invaded the hotel, especially the pool and the beach. They were noisy, with lots of food from outside and loud music. We found out they were not staying at the hotel because they said it loudly and kept calling more friends and family to come over to the hotel. The parking was full, the chairs at the pool and beach more than impossible, the bar terrible but the worst was the noise!  I understand it was a holiday, but If all the guests are given a bracelet at the check in it should be enforced that everyone uses it We'll give this property a second chance, maybe Memorial weekend is a very special date..

Family friendly preppy resort

Hawks cay is a family resort. Ideal visitors- kids, fishing, with a pet. Not really such q great resort to party or meet adults. The crowd is pretty homogeneous - white, conservative, etc. Lost of conventions here. The resort is very clean and pretty, a few restaurants, a few pools. Kid areas are great even for adults haha. I absolutely hate the dolphin encounters, with their tiny enclosures... Marina is nice and marina crew is friendly and helpful. Standouts- Ava from housekeeping Ramón at the pool bars Levar at the marina
