Good economical one night stay
Reviewed By Maps696772The room and building were clean and the staff was friendly. Our single queen room was small but comfortable. Worked well for an economical one might stay. We stayed on the 3rd floor on a Monday night, so it was quiet. It has an elevator, which was greatly appreciated!

Reviewed By OntheLOW22We recently stayed at this hotel as there was an event in La Cross and we were unable to get a room there. It's a basic hotel but what made the difference was the people. Super friendly, and I will say, they had a better breakfast spread that some of the larger and nicer hotels I've stayed in. The ladies that were working the breakfast area were so incredibly concerned with making sure everything was just right, I was very impressed. Very clean and they really cared about doing a good job. So kudos to the staff. It's amazing what a difference having good people makes!

Reviewed By Wanda RStayed one night. The lodge is older but wonderfully maintained. Rate very reasonable for the size of the room. Clean. Quiet. Great water pressure. View of the parking lot not really great. Waterpark very nice. Several pools and nicely maintained. Complimentary breakfast. Nice stay. Good value.

A little pricey but a very good experience
Reviewed By j15144Looking for a room for one night without reserving ahead of time, I found this hotel to be in a very convenient spot (intersection of I 94 & Hwy 21). Initially, I thought the price was a bit high at just under $100 before tax but the taxes were only about 8 bucks and I found the room to be immaculate and very comfortable. There was a a small refrigerator and a coffee-maker in the room (free orange juice and coffee 24/7 in the lobby) and a very nice selection of channels on a large TV. A beautiful pool and hot tub (I didn't have time to take advantage) and a very, very nice breakfast from early morning (6:30 or so) until 10:00 am). Best of all the night clerk and morning guy were very, very friendly. The morning guy kept the breakfast food very well-stocked. There was plenty of free parking very close to the door and the hotel was very quiet and the lobby was beautifully decorated. I requested a wake-up call, which came exactly on time and there was a very easy-to-program alarm clock in the room. Also, there was a very nice tub/shower with great water pressure and temperature selection. I can't say anything bad about the place and would probably stay there again when in the area. Good job, staff

Friendly desk and staff, clean rooms, nice location with LOTS of food options within walking distance and a gas station across the parking lot, what's not to love? I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Reviewed By 14loismWOW! Where should I start, All the furniture was VERY out of date. Doesn't come close to the pictures you see on the internet The room we were in felt damp all the time. The pool was redone, But there was no place to sit. So I had to stand up all the time my granddaughter was in the water. The overflow door was banging so loud you could stay very long. No breakfast. Not even donuts or a discount for no breakfast. NOW, I see some people paid $89.00 and $59.00 for a room I was charged much more. About double or more. I am going to tell my family and friends to make sure they don't stay there. When I come to Tomah to visit them I will NOT be stay there.
