Reviewed By D9842IZcharlottegSuch a friendly welcoming lady at reception, she personally showed us to our room, showed us the air conditioning etc. Beds are very comfortable, really good quality Matress & 100% cotton linen. Bathroom was modern with powerful big shower. Parking was really easy, it’s secure gated with CCTV & in very pretty courtyard with beautiful trees & flowers inside the Château grounds. Would 100% recommend for a comfortable nights sleep. Dog friendly too ?

Awful, poor customer service and disgusting room
Reviewed By bennyp31An extremely unpleasant stay at this hotel. We had an horrible room - second floor - with view over the roof and the aircon system. We told the reception that was not acceptable and they refused to give us an other room due to Covid and shortfall of staff, which is not our responsibility. Terrible noise all night. Those rooms over the roof should be kept for staff not customers ! No food, no breakfast, no room service. An absolute disgrace.

Could be and should be so much better
Reviewed By Kingfisher1807We had two nights here, en route to Spain, as we wanted to explore this wonderful area again. Starting with the good things - it’s in a wonderful position and gives fabulous views ( including of the stunning Millau bridge ). There’s a very good pool, a bar and the chalet accommodation has a fridge, which was really useful. Given these things it could be fabulous. However, the whole place felt tired, neglected and in need of some care & attention. On top of this it also seemed desperately under-staffed, especially in the restaurant both at dinner and breakfast. We ate in the hotel restaurant both nights rather than having the hassle of finding other restaurants after long days. The food was decidedly average, good salads were the highlight, the dinner menu was very limited and only one of the mains changed over our two nights. A cat was left to roam the restaurant and a number of times it jumped onto tables before they’d been cleared. Breakfast was very average. The chalet we had felt worn out, with a tiny bathroom, poor shower, and a phone that didn’t work in the two days we were there (we were told there was a technical fault and none of the phones worked). On top of this there was no maid service in the rooms at all. That came as a surprise. The lighting from the restaurant back to the chalets was largely non-existent and could be quite dangerous. Overall, not impressed but the location was great, hence three stars not two.

Little gem for an overnight stop
Reviewed By Connector90955Stayed here for one night travelling from Spain to Uk. It doesn’t look great from the outside but inside was a different story. The room was spotless with an extremely comfortable bed, powerful shower and tea/coffee making facilities. No extra charge for our dog either. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, great accommodation and friendly team
Reviewed By BonnesRoutesWe picked the hotel for the location on the outskirts of Millau next to the river for easy access and secure parking (not wanting to navigate the city or its underground parking). We were not disappointed. Easy to find, excellent parking and brilliant location between the river and the old town. The infrastructure investment in Millau around the river is excellent - a great riverside walk with a view of the Viaduc, the Tarn and surrounding mountains for a great morning jog or walk. The hotel has been updated fairly recently and was really smart, tastefully decorated and well-appointed. The beds were the most comfortable we had on our whole trip. The team at the hotel are 'très gentil' - friendly, helpful and there was a real family atmosphere. Food in the restaurant was great (there were even vegetarian options) and we had a good breakfast. We would definitely stay here again when in Millau and highly recommend the hotel.

Malachite - which had a distant view of the viaduct, a huge bath and separate shower and an extremely comfy bed! Ten/fifteen minutes walk into town for dinner and a delicious fresh breakfast in the delightful garden. We also spent an hour relaxing in the spa which has a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and tiny pool. You can also have massages if you book in advance. Very much enjoyed our stay in this beautiful property. Recommended.

This 3 star Mercure features rooms between the 5th and 9th floors withviews of the Viaduct or the limestone plateaus known as the Causses. Guests receive a warm, personal welcome at the Au Bouchon de la Fontaine restaurant and the Bar a vin de la Tine. Little ones are welcome in our Childrens Corner.

Reviewed By Ake2989Service really bad and poor NO, restaurant available, seems like Ibis and Mercure has same price. Room carpet dirty and old. I didn't like the experience in that hotel at all. Terrible! Car park not included have to pay more , feel like i didn't got any service from this hotel
