Nice hotel with everything
Reviewed By XonqNoppWe spent a week-end there and we really enjoyed our stay. We had the restaurant for the dinner, the breakfast buffet was well provided too. And we enjoyed the spa with the jacuzzi with view on the Gemmi.

Cozy and (doggy) friendly hotel
Reviewed By Fiorella EWe loved our stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic ☺️ The stoff were all very friendly, dogs are welcome and they were flexible with our check-out time. Definitely recommend this hotel for a get-away in the mountains.

Hotel with own spa

The big advantage is that they have their own spa (indoor an outdoor pool, sauna, steam bath, grotto), which means that you do have to go to the overcrowded pubilc spa (where you must book your ticket in advance). The menu of the restaurant was not very attractive. The lift is too small and one has always to wait for it.

Loved the hotel but.....
Reviewed By SteveDrabA very nice place to stay with our rooms spacious & clean. We loved almost all aspects except some of the staff (at reception) lacked 5 star attention to detail. This was a shame. On a few occasions we were sort of overlooked when needing assistance. I wont go into details but this detracted from our experience. Very casual attitude. The restaurant was fine both for breakfast (nice omelette!) & dinner. So not perfect but we had a very pleasant stay nevertheless.

Nice people, but with outdated policies
Reviewed By World_Hiker_DallasParkhotel, like many, had to close due to the current health crisis. Unfortunately, they aren't offering refunds. A voucher for future stay. Anything less than a full refund is not acceptable. If I were you, I would not stay here -- need to update their policies!

Perfect sports hotel
Reviewed By ThollonHotel Alex is a fantastic friendly sports hotel. We stayed in the winter for skiing. There is a super handy mini-funicular, which brings you up the steep hill to the main cable car to access the downhill ski area. It is private to the hotel and such a novelty! The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing with delicious birchermuseli, fruit and wide selection of bread, cheese etc. There is a brilliant games room with table tennis, air hockey, video games, baby foot and pinball machine. Room had a nice balcony. The hotel has no restaurant for evening meals but the hotel is a 5 or 10 minute walk to lots of restaurants. We’ll be back in the summer for cycling.

Funky and Friendly
Reviewed By Mark HInauspicious from the outside, but what the hell! We were only looking for a place to be together en famille for one night before Christmas. On entering the hotel (slightly slithery in the snow on the way down to the entrance, be careful), I was immediately struck be the warmth and friendliness of the welcome. It was casual, easy-going and friendly - all smiles and cheer. The rooms were perfectly adequate: spacious and tapestried with a sort of funky medieval battenening, designed to feel like a 3* suit (could have slept three); and beds comfortable. I didn't check to see if there was a mini-bar, but there was a TV (which I didn't switch on). There was was a little balcony which made me wish I still smoked and a small kitchen - in case you wanted to prepare your own food (I didn't). The restaurant offered only the one dish, the special: vegetarians and non-pork eaters beware, although also proposed t-bone steak. We had the roast pork and it was very good, excellent recommendations for Swiss wine (la Petite Arvine) and the Johannisberger was also very good. All in all, an address I wouldn't hesitate to return to.

The Hotel dala in the center of Leukerbad close to thermal bath, cablecars, shops and restaurants, offers double rooms, studios, family apartments and one romantic suite with private whirlpool, all with breakfast, balcony and a great view to mountains. Free Wi-Fi in the whole hotel and in all rooms. A small sauna, steambath, fitness equipments and an electrical massage bed are free to use. Public Parking is 2 minutes walking distance. Friendly and helpful
Reviewed By Junk MThis hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. For the price we found the decor was a bit dated which is why it does not get 5 stars from us. The breakfast was good and continuously refreshed (we have stayed at a few places where the food runs out early). For a stay in Leukerbad we would definitely recommend.

Reviewed By Rolfrolfrolf1- die bedienung + besitzer konnten nicht deutsch und schlecht englisch. - das essen war ok,das brot jedoch alt aber ich würde niemanden sagen, "da musst du hin"! - das zimmer war miserabel. Die matraze pickel hart und das hochbett quitschte bei der kleinsten bewegung.
