Visited with family one evening during our holiday to Leukerbad. Food was good and the menu offered plenty of choice. We found the food to be of exceptional value for the location, which was overlooking a busy street and out towards the Gemmi.
Staff were friendly and most had a good grasp of English too.
At the time of our visit the restaurant was fairly quiet, but none-the-less, it was clean.

The decor is semi mexican - which is strange for Switzerland. The power supply failed multiple times during our visit which fased nobody and candles were on had and lit in a few seconds. The staff were fairly efficient - even though they were foreign. The food was quickly and well prepared for an inhouse grill.
I have been asking myself if Angus beef can really be from Argentina (do they have any angus cattle down there???) - as we do have Angus beef in Switzerland, but the price of the swiss beef would probably have been a lot more.
With the mexican decor the wraps and a good child were missing IMHO.

Our family with three small grand-children was very well received and all evening we got the best possible attention, it was marvelous. The waiters had such a good way with our grand children - we adored them. We found the whole setting of the restaurant very stylish and every detail to our complete satisfaction. We were all pleased with the food and most impressed by the comprehensive wine list. What else can I say, ah yes, there was an entertainer at the piano who played enjoyable background music. It is not often that I can write such a positive review, but I assure you, it is entirely merited. The performance of the friendly waiters and the kitchen came close to perfection - we were absolutely happy!

This is a popular restaurant and it is advisable to book advance. They serve many of the Swiss traditional favourites, with raclette and fondue being the most popular. The restaurant is cosy and warm and very welcoming. We had raclette which was really very good. The service was also very attentive and good. Highly recommended.

Been there for lunch with my partner. Food was not even average but plain horrible. I had mushroom roesti which I strongly suspect was not home made and the creamy mushrooms were full of herbs which I personally think spoiled the taste. It is generally touristy food on the menu as they have meats, mountain specialities and pizza, which are all pretty expensive (price range is the same as Geneva for example). Generally I think it is better to focus on one type of food in order to deliver quality and taste over variety.

The Bodmenstubli is a wonderful restaurant located in the hamlet of Bodmen, reached following an easy and scenic 40 minute walk from Leukerbad. The food and service is outstanding with local dishes using fresh ingredients featuring prominently on the menu. There is a lovely patio area with great views for outside eating and relaxing and loungers are also provided for that afternoon siesta. The restaurant itself is tastefully furnished and very Swiss. The owner, Marianne, also sells homemade produce and we would highly recommend treating yourself to some of her jam or cheese.

Hotel/Restaurant Alpina is a nice, friendly and rustic place which gives you complete feeling of being in the mountain and in the heart of Switzerland. The menu in the restaurant is mostly traditional and the prices are reasonable.

My wife, our 3 kids and myself came in Pizzeria Giardino to enjoy Pizzas in family. The place is very clean, spacy, new and service was very good. However, the quantity of food on the pizzas was kind of minimalist to my eyes, specially for anchois, very few inside my plate... We paid CHF. 105.-- for all of us, including pizzas, water and some desserts for the kids. We will definitively come back as this adress is a good one for us.

I went to Leukerbad , Switzerland few days ago. Excellent! The Heilquelle is a absolutely charming restaurant ! All stuffs are very friendly and co-operative. Also the restaurant was too much clean and environment was wonderful.
Now let me talk about the foods...Nice ! All the dishes are very nice thought out and the wine pairings work wonderfully with the food. Specially i like Sandwich and pizza.
So i decide, i will go there again and again. Max star !
