They are also all airconditioned for your comfort. The bungalows are set amidst lush indigenous gardens with balconies - most with sea-views - which offer exceptional views of the sunrise over the ocean.
Beautiful lodge with friendly staff and delicious food
Reviewed By Céline HMy sister and I stayed for a week at the lodge. We really enjoyed the cozy rooms with the view on the ocean, the friendly and very helpful staff, as well as the restaurant. The food is really delicious and there a some very nice options for vegetarian (and vegan) guest - just be aware that it takes some times to get the food. It gives you time to relax, have a drink and look at the ocean but if you have little time to eat it's not always ideal. Loved the breakfast particularly! The room are very comfortable - I would just suggest to have something to hide during the shower (transparent shower inside of the room - not great if you want a bit of privacy). The staff was extremely kind and attentive to our needs and always with kind words, so thank you all for this. You should definitely book a massage - it was just perfect! Great place to disconnect and to real feel on holiday.

Exceptional Fitness Retreat!
Reviewed By LindaBNewI stayed 11 nights to do an extended Fitness retreat. The workouts were demanding and yielded results, and the food and juice were delicious and so healthy! Chef Sophie excels at making healthy food flavorful! After Nelson had pushed me to my limits during the workouts, the ladies at the spa helped to 'repair' my body and make my aching muscles feel better. An amazing team of professionals that make you feel like you are part of the family!

The food was delicious and the staff were brilliant. We would highly recommend. Next time we will stay for more than two nights !! Perfect stay.

Reviewed By Marian VWe had a great stay at Bazaruto! The staff is very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The restaurant staff is professional and attentive (especially Albino). The food is nice with a lot of choice. During our stay we had multiple staff members a day, who knew our name, to inform if everything was OK. The rooms and premisis are beautiful and very clean. Even though the buildings in the resort are starting to become a bit outdated; but the quality of the food and staff make Bazaruto into a 5 star experience

We are situated right on the beach in the centre of Vilanculos bay and all rooms have a spectacular view of the sea. We offer our clients luxury self cater units which come with satellite TV and aircon + fully fitted kitchen/lounge which looks out over the Indian Ocean. Double room + a small back room with a double bunk bed makes these ideal for families with small children. We also have deluxe double rooms which are equally well fitted out with top of the range mattresses and cotton linen without the the self cater option.The well known Casbah restaurant is on site with 5 star catering serving the best fresh seafood and steaks.

Reviewed By louisew895Where to begin, our first time in Vilanculo, we can't wait to come back! From the moment we arrived at Baobab we just felt relaxed and at peace. Wonderful cabin with a view of the sea (a lot of time was spent on the hammock!). It was wonderful to step straight out onto the beach every morning and walk, have a splash in the crystal clear water. The whole area was very peaceful and clean, we were so impressed how much pride is taken to keep the beach and streets clean and without brash and tacky places The baobab peri peri chicken is so good we once ordered it twice in one day! All the food was very good, but the chicken especially (that homemade peri peri is something else - they should bottle and sell it!). The breakfast was also great and good coffee. The fresh coconuts also a lovely touch. Finally we also need to say a special thanks and congratulations on outstanding service to Rabeka. In all our years of travelling, this is a person I will especially remember as such an excellent host. Warm and friendly, so efficient, makes sure everyone has what they needs and that guests are happy, also that the staff team are also happy and know what they are doing. She was fantastic at arranging all transfers, activities for us, all so easily and with a smile. She's charming and such an asset to this place and made sure how stay was extra special

Perfect honeymoon getaway
Reviewed By lexigreen2022We had the most wonderful honeymoon at Khumba. Khumba was the perfect place to relax, enjoy the beautiful beach and even stargaze from our ocean view room! Steven and the staff are so friendly and accommodating and would go out of their way to make us feel at home. The food and coffee is also amazing at Khumba- definitively the best in Tofo. We’re getting excited to go back already!

Reviewed By NPreeceThe attention to detail and personal service is of the highest quality. The rooms decor is stunning. The gardens and all the swimming pools are beautifully kept. The cloths you get when you come off the beach as well as the mojitos are such a special touch. A huge thank you to Sonette, Pedro, Alberto, Akasia, Paulino, Thomas, Abel, Ignacio, and all the friendly staff. This is a boutique hotel with fantastic food and rooms. We stayed in Santa Carolina and it was massive. The beds and linen so comfortable. The wifi is good. The cute pictures on the butter always entertaining! Diving at the reef at Bazaruto was another hilight. The visit to Magarouke Island was so special as well. And to top it off we saw a DUGONG! And of course the sightings of dolphins are always magical. The free slipslops and cute bottle of beach sand such special touches! Oh and the spa was fabulous too! The laundry is complimentary! All rooms have sea views! In your room is a beach bag, sarongs and gowns for use whilst at the lodge. I cannot rave about Santorini enough!

All facilities have the quality you’d expect in an upmarket hotel. Yet this place combines that with a very personal feel and all the charm of a family-run guesthouse. The place has been furnished and decorated with a delicate eye for details. And the team and owners have a high personal interest in their guests and are very nice to relate to. The owners can give extensive advice about the possibilities in the region and have a good network of guides and other operators. Highly recommended as a location to get away from it all.

A very good place
Reviewed By Culture21867017079Wonderful experience, the staff are amazing ( especially Alex ) the food was pricey but very good. The views are out of this world, and the beach fantastic. The only reason I give 4/5 , is bcoz the pool was not working, and the road to the resort is terrible.
