Reviewed By bklimb315913We have stayed for Christmas at Vertigo and is was a very nice and tranquil place. Beautiful view on the lake from the tent and the pool, mjummie breakfast and finally a night without mosquitos. He rest of the words here are only because Tripadviser wants minimum 200 characters.

From the time you arrive there, you feel welcome and experience that 'home away from home' feeling! The accommodation on the estate are very well appointed chalets & homes, all fully serviced and equipped for self-catering. The restaurant and bar are simply delightful. The bar is well stocked with ice cold 2M beers and large R&R's amongst other beverages, and the restaurant has a great menu which includes fresh seafood, chicken, pizzas and burgers, all freshly prepared from a well supervised kitchen.....enjoy a drink of your choice outside at the poolside R&R Bar with an exquisite sea view while your order is being prepared, and then indulge in the flavours that epitomize Mozambique. The beach walks and sea activities are right on your doorstep. Oyster Bay Estate is certainly a place to Relax, Rest & Refresh - don't miss out on this absolute gem!

BAD EXPERIENCE AT FAROL DA BARRA MOZ
Reviewed By 1961NonnieFarol da Barra Mozambique is not a place you want to go if you want to relax. The cars and 4 wheel bikes are up and down infront of your holiday home all day. The guys selling stuff on the beach hound you from early morning and dont stop the whole day. It is exhausting!

Raw beauty and a suitable venue to experience it from !
Reviewed By David JThe area is incredibly beautiful and doesn’t have the masses of people in Tofu, Ponto etc so for what we were after it was a perfect venue and location. The accommodation it self is great, it’s clean has ample space (sleeps ten) about 5 Meters from the most beautiful beach and warm ocean and also close by to some night life in the form of Neptune’s and Charlie’s bar. You won’t be disappointed at this venue but travelers expecting a hotel experience should manage their expectations it isn’t What’s on offer in this area or venue. The review reflects the location and venue performing relative to this.

Reviewed By Teri2012If you are looking for a family or friends getaway this is the perfect luxury lodge. What's nice is they have fly-in option (private charter plane - 19 seater) direct from Lanseria to Inhambane (less then 2hr flight), makes it a perfect long weekend destination. The lodge has all luxury sea facing rooms with fabulous lounge/patio area up and downstairs of the lodge. There are 2 swimming pools with beach loungers and umbrellas which look directly onto the beach. We had 17 ladies for the trip and was honestly one of the best trips I have done. The breakfasts and dinners were fantastic and the staff are just SUPERB!!! We have already pre-booked our trip for 2023 :)
