If you need something you can trust her to take care of you. She is responsive, polite and efficient. Regarding the hotel the room were spacious, comfortable mattress, clean, wide shower. The hotel is well located in The city

We are a small lodge located 6 minutes walk from the main beach of Ponta Do Ouro. We have a great little bar and restaurant and have 5 cozy queen bed Bungalows with private bathrooms, a luxury bungalow with a separate bathtub and shower, AC and a balcony as well as a 10 person dorm room and two 4 person dorm rooms ideal for students and friends. We help to organize all activities ranging from Dolphin swimming and scuba diving to deep sea fishing and nature walks. Great for couples, groups or the single traveler. Camping is also available, along with a single room. Our promise to you is when you come to visit us we will go out of our way to make sure you have the best holiday possible.

Reviewed By TILLY_MOODLEYGamboozini isn’t a luxurious 5 star resort but it has great comfort, cleanliness, tranquility & delicious food: all that you need to relax. We booked the Lux bungalow & it was ideal. When we arrived there, Mica & Artur stole our hearts with their humility. Mica & Artur went out of their way to make delicious breakfasts & dinners as per our request. They were so pleasant & so willing to makes our stay pleasant. We were surrounded by greenery & mountains. The morning air was crisp. In all honesty, I booked there to ‘rough it out’ & my husband was not happy when we arrived. BUT, within minutes, he was sold on staying there. Both of us left happy with our short stay. It was a life fulfilling experience. While we could be amidst the local people, a short drive took us down to the beautiful & clean beach. This resort is ideally situated, close to nature & peace but also within a short distance to the busy beach, where you can rent a gazebo & chairs to relax. This short break was memorable with a big ‘Thank You’ to Mica & Artur.

Las toallas son viejas también parecen sucias Las camas muy duras El desayuno está bien. La ubicación es muy buena. Se puede aparcar en la puerta y tienen seguridad.

Reviewed By Rebeccakb5Machangulu beach lodge is simply spectacular. Every location, from your log cabin, the pool, two bars, sunset viewing deck, and the restaurant has a sea view. The food is incredible: fresh fish or prawns are on option at every meal. There are kayaks, SUP boards, goggles, snorkels, wetsuits and flippers available for use at no charge. And no shortage of activities and day outings: deep sea fishing, snorkeling, hikes, kayaking, to name a few. We highly recommend the snorkeling picnic excursion to nearby Nyaka Island. What makes the lodge so special are the friendly, hard-working staff who tirelessly attend to your every need. Thank you to the most wonderful team at Machangulu!! We will definitely be back.

How not to deal with a disappointed customer
Reviewed By MozEcoToursI’ve taken time to reflect on the awful experience we had at a place we’ve previously more or less enjoyed. The food has always only ever been average-to-good. Never great. Often over-cooked. Almost always rather bland. But it has always been reliably average, and the setting is great. The restaurant is simply but elegantly set, with billowing white fabric on the matchesa poles. So, staying in Macaneta for my birthday, it was an easy choice for a birthday dinner. We arrived and asked for drinks while we watched the sun set over the river and swamps. My wife asked for a Margarita. What arrived was an abomination. A tall glass, brimming over with an artificial-looking yellow liquid, the glass stuffed with chunks of lemon, no sign of salt on the rim. We called the waiting staff to ask what we’d been given and were informed that there was no mistake. We sent it back, even demonstrating (via google) a selection of images of what a margarita should look like (not to mention its core ingredients). The young girls serving the table were very confused, huddled together and then plucked the courage to go and talk to the owner. A few minutes later, the lady appeared at our table and aggressively defended her ‘margarita’. No matter how we tried, the lady wouldn’t let it go. We got to the point of pleading with her simply to give it up and serve us something else (we weren’t asking not to pay). But no, the lady went back to the bar and returned with a bottle called ‘Margarita’, and even peeled off the label so she could show us the ‘recipe’! I don’t need to add more. We asked for the bill and paid. By then, the crab paté had arrived. Given that we were leaving, I asked for it to be wrapped. A few minutes later, one of the waiting staff returned to say that we’d have to pay for the take-away! We fell about laughing and left. This was a perfect example of how NOT to deal with a disappointed customer.

Mama's was perfect for out 7 person family, with the kids able to swim and play in the garden and nearby beach and the adults had the amazing view and ocean at our fingertips. Highly recommend this Lodge and will DEFINITELY be back!!!!

Reviewed By marco-lmmsfJá estive aqui duas vezes e mais virei. Lodge calmo e sossegado. Tudo muito simples, inclusive os quartos, mas com o suficiente para umas duas noites. Tem bar e restaurante que servem perfeitamente para comer ou beber qualquer coisa, mas nada de pratos mais "elaborados". Os funcionários são simpáticos e os alojamentos estavam limpos. A praia fica à saída do portão e tem toldos em que se paga o aluguer a uns rapazes que por ali estão. A relação qualidade/preço podia ser melhor, baixando um pouco os preços e mantendo o estado actual já não era mau.
