Reviewed By Dream797137Gramat may not be the first place on your list of French towns to visit and we did not stay here in the Hotel but if you are hungry at lunchtime and nearby please go and see Madame here in the restaurant. Her chef will cook you a fluffy omelette if you need one or go for something more substantial and it will be delicious. We were made most welcome and it was a delight to eat here.

Reviewed By tptkdnmAbsolutely wonderful. The decor is interesting. The hotel is super clean and the food is amazing. The home-made croissants are to die for - by far the best I have ever had. The hosts go out of their way to make you comfortable. While we were there, the orange juice squeezer failed. From then on, our host served as a glass of hand squeezed juice every morning, without asking. Also, once we had ordered eggs a certain way, they had them ready for us. The owners simply go above and beyond to make you comfortable and ensure that you have everything you need. To top off a wonderful stay, all three of us in my group received a wonderful bottle of local Malbec as good-bye gift. I have never ever experienced hospitality like that!

RUDEST RECEPTION,NEVER STAY HERE
Reviewed By siunalWe liked the hotel and wanted to extend the stay for one more night when we first checked in with the condition that we could stay in the same room.They accepted it and gave us a room and after we moved in they came to our room to ask to change the room the next morning bc they needed the room for a handicapped person. Of course we agreed and the next morning we learned that we had to stay next to the restaurant which is the noisiest place. When we said we would not extend one more night if we knew we would change the room the gentleman in the reception began to shout so loud and said 'this is the only room, if you want to stay stay or you leave' I have never seen such a rude and disrespectful hotel behavior in my life, shouting at a customer and disrespecting a female like this. The hotel is very nice but this management style is unacceptable so I suggest not to stay here

Cottage was very nice, well equipped. The only wierd part was the bed linien - only a sheet and a blanket to cover with. WiFi access is free of charge despite stated otherwise on booking.com.

Reviewed By innkeeper59Unassuming but friendly and comfortable- highly recommend as a hotel and the gourmet restaurant. Across the street from the train station and a 1 min walk to the lovely quiet gardens of the nearby convent.

Wonderful place to stay, great hospitality, fantastic food
Reviewed By Judy H4 of us arrived on our bicycles and we were given the warmest of welcomes. This beautiful old chateau in a rural setting has been recently "done up" to a very extremely high standard so making the bedrooms, and dining and sitting areas all very characterful We chose to have an evening meal which we shared with 6 others and it was a culinary delight and good fun - a very French experience. This was one so the best places we stayed at during our 2 week holiday in France.
