The 10 best hotels in Frisco, United States

June 28, 2022 Vergie Nakamoto

Frisco in Colorado is a small town close to several ski resorts. With fantastic scope for skiing and other outdoor pursuits as well as being a great base from which to explore Colorado and the Rocky Mountains, Frisco describes itself as the Main Street of the Rockies, and is a great place for a family holiday. The first stop for many tourists in Frisco will be the Frisco Nordic Center at the Peninsula Recreation Area, with facilities for skating, cross country skiing and snowshoeing throughout the winter months. The Breckenridge and Copper Mountain ski resorts are also nearby and provide all sorts of skiing and snowboarding opportunities. Any outdoor enthusiast will certainly find a huge range of ski trails and activities for all levels of experience and ability. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, you can even take the whole family white water rafting! In the evenings, Frisco is a small town, but contains an impressive number of restaurants, shops and nightlife. And if you need a break from the slopes, the Frisco Historic Park & Museum is great for kids, a collection of preserved and reconstructed historic buildings which chart Frisco's development from trapper camp to mining town to its present day tourist haven.

This is a nice, clean small venue which is a good overnight stop. The management has this streamlined and efficient. Rooms are fairly spacious while not fussy. You do get a coffeemaker and refrig. I recommend for a good short stay.

Could be cute and charming but its not!

Reviewed By Nina D

Not the best experience at this place. We were in room 205, a Family Suite. There were 2 bedrooms and a pullout couch in the "living room", which did not have anything else it beside the TV on the wall. The "kitchen" consisted of a microwave, a sink and a small ice-caked fridge. No coffee maker was provided. In the cabinets there weren't any cups, plates, or any utensils (except for the few in the pic provided.) The inside of the kitchen cabinets were very dirty. We only were given towels for 2 people even though this was a "Family Suite." Luckily i found someone to ask for more towels. The unit was not real clean either. The floor left our socks black. The counters and few bits of furniture in the room were dusty. The tiny bathroom was dank and the lock was broken and hanging askew. Whoever painted did an awful job. Paint was peeling everywhere. Our balcony had 2 chairs on it but was generally bleak and unappealing. Oh, also our room door did not shut and lock properly. One of the fans in the room did not function. Furniture looked worn and banged up. The beds were comfortable though with crisp fresh sheets and had 4 nice pillows. That was probably the best thing about the room. The location is ideal too. I wish I had spent more time looking for another place. Fortunately we were there for only one night. I would not recommend this place. With improved maintenance/cleaning this place could be so cute, charming and sweet. But at this time, it does have a feeling of a being a hostel instead of a moderately high end hotel. Final grumble...at 9am the next morning, we left to get breakfast. We saw that the maid had started cleaning the room next to ours. My sister talked to her and told her that we were just going for breakfast and that we had not checked out and to not clean the room yet. Upon our return, we saw that she had entered, had replaced all the towels and had taken the sheets off our bed. All our stuff was still up there. Wtf? Plus she had thrown something away that belonged to my little nephew. We ended up washing up and using most of the new towels that she had just put out.

Do not stay here! I could go on a huge rant it was so dirty. I wouldn't let my dog swim in the pool. We have a 9 month old and I would rather let her crawl on the sidewalk. We left 5 minutes after check in and they charged us $163 and when I booked with them they told me $100. I don't know how this place is even open. RUN!

Not a great hotel, still pretty expensive. Arrived and they said no pool or hot tub, but no change in price? They didn’t even tel me that when we booked. Customer service okay but certainly not great. Breakfast, borderline embarrassing with cereal boxes, packaged muffins and a few cold things. Hotel is very old and you can see it.

We first stayed here in late spring, the rate was good, room clean and was close to where we needed. The Breakfast was not even eatable. The Owners are cheap and should not have the Breakfast as part of your stay. We came back the next year during Ski Season and the room rate was 60% higher and the Breakfast was Coffee, Watered Down Juices, Packaged Muffins & Packaged Honey Buns. Provide an acceptable Breakfast or reduce the rate. If you loose your room key they charge you (this is part of doing business if a customer looses their key).
