A HUGE thank you to the staff - Right after I checked out, I discovered, much to my dismay, I had left the lights on on my rental car the night before and so the battery was dead. I was about to panic as I had a flight to catch. The nice lady clerk at the front desk saved the day by pulling the jumper cables out of the back office and jumping my battery. I cannot thank her enough!!

With the excellent options for breakfast -- including made-to-order omelets, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, and seasoned potatoes -- a guest will probably need to use the indoor pool or the fitness room to burn off the calories. The hotel has the environmentally-friendly practice of card-activated power in each of the rooms, which can lead to a warm start to your stay if the weather is sunny and warm. However, the air-conditioning unit was effective and cooled the room to an acceptable temperature. The most significant issue with the hotel property is the parking lot, which has several noticeable issues.

The bed was AWESOME! I didn’t get a chance to try the breakfast, but it smelled wonderful. Next time I’m in town I’ll gladly stay here again!

Very pet friendly
Reviewed By williamo126We stopped for the night with our two dogs and had a wonderful stay. This location is really pet friendly inside and out. The rooms had laminate floors which ate great for the dogs. And there were waste disposal sites at both ends of the hotel. The bed and bath were very clean and comfortable. The room was large enough to spread out. Overall, the room was great. And breakfast was very hot and fresh. There was lots of variety for a quick bite and back on the road. Of course the coffee helped.

Good communication from the host before arrival. Fabulous 1873 home, so lots to see for history buffs. Nicely restored and updated for a comfortable stay.

The place needs remodeling it feels dated the plugs don't work. The hallway stinks like cigarette smoke. The pool is down The breakfast room sucks, feels uninviting, the breakfast options are very limited, and hard to find what you are looking for its scattered around the room like a Easter egg hunt.

Cheap and clean
Reviewed By revG777It was very basic, but that's what you expect from a Motel 6. We did have a problem with the door key. We had several different cards redone. None of them worked. Finally the lady at the desk used her master key to get us in and we were informed that they would have to put a new door handle on the next day. Fortunately we were not going anywhere anymore that night, so we didn't need to get in and out until the morning. There was also a strip joint right next to it, but it is closed on Mondays, which is the day we stayed at the Motel. So no problems with noise and whatever else may happen the rest of the week.

I couldn’t understand what he was saying. between his mask and using only a tiny window just large enough to slip paper thru, and the noise from the freeway, all I could really understand was he asked several times if we had a pet? We kept saying no but he kept asking! I don’t feel as though the sheets were changed, I’ve slept in enough hotels to know what clean sheets look and should smell like, and these were used, I could see something purple on the light switch and the same color was also on the bed sheet, so another sign they were used. The 1980’s bedspreads are ugly and should just be left off! There was a nightstand, dresser, desk that wasn’t even wiped off, the toilet was disgusting, the tissue box was on the sink and had a used tissue shoved back in it. I had to clean the toilet, and wiped everything down and I always use shower shoes! The room was cleaner when we left than when we got there. I would have switched rooms but my bf said he didn’t want too, it would have probably been the same maid, or owner cleaned. I think the owner lives there in a couple of rooms attached to the office. I saw a woman go in the side door, this morning most likely his wife we returned our keys to her in the office thru the tiny opening or night window. So there’s no breakfast or grab n go either. We stayed because it was $60 out the door. I personally wouldn’t stay again without checking out the room first, but we do road trips and we need these places to be affordable but we do expect the very basics to be done! If the prior problems were clean, it would of been a clean room for a fair price. Once in the room we couldn’t hear the highway, so it was quiet and the beds were comfortable. The next time I’ll check the room and if we don’t like it we’ll try Super 8 or Days Inn located in the same area. There was a McDonald’s, Cracker Barrel, Taco Bell and several gas stations, all within walking distance..
