The 10 best All-inclusives in Valencian Country, Spain

April 26, 2023 Ying Subia

Comprising the provinces of Alicante, Valencia and Castellon, Valencian Country basks on the Mediterranean Coast in central southeastern Spain. The densely populated area is a prime tourist destination, with Valencia city having the reputation as the place the Spanish go to party. The area offers budget resorts, such as those on the Costa Blanca, to upscale villas in elegant Valencia. Small villages are scattered through the mountainous inland region, but it's the coast that remains the main draw.

A group of 3 adults 1 child , we had a very relaxing 1 week break. Reception not that helpful , we had experienced an item of clothing go missing from the room and was passed from pillar to post , although they did rectify this on the final day with a gesture of good will. Facilities are great , and hotel is very clean. Although I feel that the gym should be included and not €6 for 2 hours use! The food option was brilliant , a great variety and well stocked . Bar staff brilliant , especially Alvaro stood out to us , so friendly and attentive to our son, always made sure we had everything we need. Great service, and bar staff always happy and chatty. This was the 2nd visit and will be back.

We arrived for a 5 night stay and stayed in room 2010 Robin Hood themed room poolside. Very adequate space and very clean with two bathrooms bunk beds, and a queen bed, a sofa bed and kitchen area with own private gardens lounge area. Little space for storage in bathroom and bedroom but space under the beds for luggage cases. Cleaners are on site everyday and do a good job. No phone in the room which caused a slight issue with the fire alarm waking us up but it was quickly resolved. The staff at this hotel work extremely hard to keep the place clean and running. There could be more choices of snacks around the pool side as there was only crisps and nachos. The queue got a little annoying to get drinks. We took the all inclusive premium package and it was more than enough choices but got abit repetitive after day 3. Always enough tables available, and again the staff were always on hand to be helpful. This is a very large hotel with about 3 pools. Floats are allowed in one area and the life guards were pretty relaxed but doing their jobs to keep everyone safe. Taxi into Benidorm old town was only ten mins away and definitely worth the visit. The WiFi wasn't great and looked as though the plug was pulled when too many ppl were trying to use it. The Waterpark slides are a great addition and plenty of space for everyone. Fun for all ages. Overall definitely would visit again. Lovely hotel and we all got what we wanted which was fun sun smiles.

Amazing hotel for families and couples

Reviewed By R4639UKkatieb

Just got back from an amazing week in Benidorm at this beautiful hotel. First time taking my little boy away (20 months) and this hotel was perfect for him. Children - Soft play downstairs was a life saver for keeping him entertained out of the sun, staff were so attentive and amazing with him, a bonus for us but maybe not for everyone no balcony to worry about him going on to, lots of food choices for him and a separate outdoor area with children pool and play area! Bedrooms - done to a very high standard, very luxurious and comfortable. Food - I am a extremely fussy easter so all inclusive usually isn’t the best for me but there was a sign in the restaurant area letting you know special requests can be made which gave me some reassurance but turns out I never actually needed to ask for anything, there was always something I liked and for those that are really fussy and those going with kids there is always chips! Area/Location - the location of this hotel was perfect for us, quiet area but lively enough. Right on the beach front close to little supermarkets, shops cafes etc. you can easily walk into the old town which we would do a couple times a day and about a 40 min walk from the new town which we did on occasion. Entertainment- there is in house entertainment on a evening which was always fab to watch quite low key and fun perfect for families. Staff- the staff were what really made this hotel for us, always happy to do anything for you before you’ve even asked, friendly, chatty just so wonderful! Especially the restaurant staff.

This is our 4th return to Albir Gardens, and it didn't disappoint. We have just returned after 2 glorious weeks. We stayed in the premium room this time which I wouldn't do again if im.honest. The room was amazing, so big, however I just missed having a separate bedroom, not enough storage (draw space). Food was great, plenty to choose from, and the pool food bar was brilliant, also open until 12pm. Bar staff as always a amazing especially the lovely Gaspar, they are always very polite and smiling, even when the pressure was on, as it got really busy at times. The maids work so hard, everyday we were given clean towels and bedding. Thanks again Albir Gardens for a great holiday. Love The Shinglers room D110.

We stayed here on a last minute 9 day break. We go to benidorm every year and have stayed at many hotels, our hotel of choice is the Rosamar but due to it being closed for a refurb we tried this hotel. First the hotel is clean and child friendly. The splash park is very good as is the other pool. The day kids club facilities are good which is a soft play area and various activities taking place throughout the day with very nice staff. The AI choice of drinks which are branded are very good. The nighttime entertainment is hit and miss, about three good shows 2 ok shows and the rest were pretty boring. The kids entertainment on a night is the worst we have seen and is aimed more for the Spanish and is very poor, even our kids who love doing everything didn’t want to participate in any of it. The food is ok not the worst but certainly not the best and after 4 days I couldn’t face anymore of it. The rooms are ok, they are cleaned everyday but we didn’t realise there wasn’t a balcony which didn’t work for us as we like sitting out on a balcony. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help. The location is at the end of the Levante beach and is located up a hill which is something to be mindful of if you have young children or mobility issues. Would I stay here again, nope because of the reasons I have stated but again not the worst I’ve stayed in but certainly not the best. PS if you do get fed up of the food what we found out on the last night was you can order fresh pizzas from reception or the app (in boxes) to be cooked and collected from the speciality Italian restaurant on a night which was pretty good for no extra cost.

First time with the kids

I have been coming to this hotel twice a year every year for over 15 years and I love the place but this time I came with my girlfriend and step kids. Now I love the place but I was worried if the kids would like having never being abroad before. It turns out I had nothing to worry about all the kids loved it and can't wait to go back next year even when asked if they would like to try a different hotel they all said they would like to come back to the Cristal park. But in the mean time me and the girlfriend have already booked again for October (just us two this time). I would like to especially thank Liana who went above and beyond to sort out rooms out she is a star and also Anita in the magic cafe who gets the drinks perfect every time and is always happy to help in anyway she can. See you all again in October ?

we arrived late at night so check in was not as bad as some other reviews on here, but he said because it was late to come back to reception tomorrow to be told anything we need to know, gave us our wristbands and sent us on our way. You get a buggy to your room and that was funny as it ran out of battery half way up the hill. Rooms were lovely, double bed (2 singles pushed together) then bunk beds in separate room and 2 small bathrooms with showers, was so disappointed in the cleanliness, the cleaners come in and just made the beds, the floors were never cleaned, every time we came in from the day to get ready for evening our feet were black as soon as we got out the shower, had to put flip flops on straight away, I ended up cleaning the floor with baby wipes. Breakfast is okay, but lunch and dinner are absolutely disgusting, My children and I hardly ate anything the whole week, and the fly's are everywhere, I mean you grab a bit of ham and 5 fly's fly off, when eating dinner you are constantly hitting them away something needs to be done to try and control this. Entertainment is crap!!! and all in Spanish! queues to get drinks are about 20 minutes long all night every night, even during the day around the pool and water park! Swimming pool is far too small we went to the water park every day which is amazing just 1 little down side is the amount of schools that go in there, the children push all the little children out the lines for the little slides and no teachers supervise them, but don't waste your holiday by staying at the hotel pool. Zoo is good. The on site shuttles are so good, drivers always wait for you and make sure you don't get left, they are all so polite and lovely to the children. My 2 boys made friends and wanted a photo with them all, myself and my husband told them to jump on the buggy that was parked up, the were sitting in it just about to have a photo and a young man who worked there came round the corner and shouted at them asking what they think they were doing and to get off, as he drove off he was shaking he's head muttering something in Spanish, the weren't doing anything wrong!
