I wouldn’t call this TexMex, but I will call it outstanding Mexican food at unbelievable low prices. First of all don’t let the exterior put you off. Open the door and you’ll be walking into a family owned operation that are committed to guest satisfaction and great food. I was there a bit before eleven and every table was full with a wait for tables. Our own order of two burritos for about eight bucks with tax was delicious and very large; my wife couldn’t finish hers. Just go there and you’ll be raving about Cookie’s too.

We were looking for good tacos and found them in this little hole in the wall place. I had crunchy beef tacos, spouse had taco plate with beef tongue, tripe and carditas (sp) tacos. He said they were delicious. Rice and Beans were very good too. If you want fancy, this isn't the place, if you want reasonably priced good food, come on in.

Went here per trip advisor for high rating. Chips and salsa were fresh and tasty. Everything beyond that was mediocre at best. The margaritas were meh. My husband and I shared the combination fajitas. The tortillas appeared handmade and were good. Nothing on the fajita pan was “sizzling”. The meat was warm(ish) and the onions and peppers were undercooked. Beans and rice and other accoutrements were forgettable. The service, however, was impeccably courteous and that’s the only reason the stars are 3 not 2.

This restaurant has been around for many years (25+), so we were excited to try it recently. With so many Mexican and Tex-Mex restaurants, from restaurant chains to popular, trendy restaurants, it was refreshing to walk in to a small and quiet restaurant, be seated right away, and experience great service with personal attention.David was an excellent and attentive server. We tried the tacos, which came with rice and beans. The beef was good(ground); the chicken taco is the 'pulled' type of chicken, not chunks of chicken as in some restaurants. The shells were a bit hard and chewy (not as crisp as usual) but the chips were excellent! As was the salsa. I would recommend the margaritas, which were better than most. Save room for dessert: the Tres Leches cake is creamy and delicious!

I came here the first time the other day. I got some tacos, which were really good, but that is all you get. There was no chips n salsa. No beans n rice. I also got a burrito, which was really good, but it was $7.50 for just a burrito and nothing else. I just felt it was not a very good value for money.

I thought the food was not great the first few times I went. I don't know what changed, but the food is much fresher and less canned tasting now. They have good chips and salsa. Not too expensive, good portions.

I love a good breakfast burrito or taco and Taco Delight delivers and on the cheap too. For lunch I usually enjoy their taco salad but their burritos or tacos or pretty much whatever is good too. If you want some good TexMex quick and your are near Princeton TX this is a nice stop.
