The Q & Brew is a very nice casual restaurant. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Our waitress was very nice and attentive to our needs. I had the brisket with fried okra and truffle fries which are normal french fries. Parmesan was sprinkled on top of the fries. The beef was very tender. My husband chose the ribs, fried okra and rustic potato salad. The ribs were beef. The BBQ sauce was too spicy. We ordered the Cowboys stuffers as an appetizer. They were very large jalapenos stuffed with meat. We do plan to visit at least one more time and try the chicken.Thank you for leaving us a review Donna! We are glad to hear you enjoyed your food at the Q & Brew. We apologize that the BBQ sauce was too spicy for you, but hope you come back soon to try us again.

We didn't get to sit at the cool looking bar, because my husband met me on my lunch break. I ordered this $15 seafood pasta dish and I would just like to warn everyone beforehand, they do not have bread! I tried to eat the pasta without bread and I couldn't. I finally asked the waitress if they had any bread back there like toast,a bun, anything I don't care I just need something. She finally came out with little bread pieces used for cheese sauce I think? Anyway, I would have rather eaten at Vals. I am going back to try a non pasta dish, maybe I will like that better.

For several years, we’ve been stopping at the Bakers Rib when we travel I-20 and always enjoyed the food. In fact, I’ve left a positive review before. However, this time we left disappointed. Although I asked for a lean cut brisket, the meat was opened from a “Baggie” type of plastic bag, then simply put on a plate. The meat was a mix of lean and fat (mostly fat), the potato salad had an unusual taste and the beans were dry as if they had been setting out for a day or so. Also, the price for two single meat plates and small drinks came to nearly 30 dollars. That’s getting a little too rich for even a couple of plates of good BBQ and way overpriced for sub-par meal. Although the service was good and the folks friendly, from now on, I’ll just keep driving until I get to better BBQ.

We ate here twice for breakfast during First Monday Trade Days. Friday morning everything was perfect. We really appreciate the Senior menu and AARP discount. Saturday morning they were short staffed. District Mgr waited on us. The only problem, she went down the row waiting on tables and submitted all those orders at once. There were others guests who came in after we did,got their food and left before we even got our food. That can be a little discouraging but food was great once we were served.

Ambience is very pedestrian, metal covered tables with no tablecloths, not much more in the way of décor. At first glance it looks as if they are trying to be a country themed restaurant but they fail if that's the theme they're going for.Waitress was very polite, a lot of "yes sir"s and "yes ma'am"s thrown in there and she kept my unsweet tea glass full, can't complain about the service.House salad was a decent size and pretty good, would have been better if it would have had tomato, onion and perhaps cukes thrown in, but it was good nonetheless. My wife's meal was fine, she ended up taking about half home to eat later, she told me it was very good, no complaints from her end.My 18 oz ribeye was a different story altogether, fat perimeter should have been trimmed before cooking, fully fifty percent was a thick, inedible fat ring. It was so noticeable that it immediately caught my eye when the waitress brought out our meals. I should have refused the steak, knowing I was going to pay 25 for this cut. Had I been unaccompanied, I might have turned it back, but I didn't want to embarrass my wife by complaining about the steak. My bad, I probably should have refused it. It was cooked a bit longer than medium, but okay tasting, just nowhere near worth the money I paid for it. Baked potato and roll were good.

I stopped here for a quick meal after some official business in Canton, as the "Almost World Famous" slogan on the sign caught my eye (it reminded me a bit of Hooters' "Soon To Be Relatively World Famous" blurb). Bacon, eggs, and home fries hit the spot, and Felicia was a warm-hearted table server.

Stopped for a bite on the way to Dallas, to burn some time and avoid evening rush. Very cordial greetings by several employees, who directed us to the order counter in the rear. Items are listed on chalkboard in printing that is a little small for my aging eyes! The burger was meaty and tasty. The onion rings were very promising - tasty crust, although the onions were cut a little too thickly, and slightly tough. Sports screens were well handled. Very fun place. We'll be back.

We were driving through Canton and given the reviews decided to lunch at Buttermilk’s. We ordered the fried zucchini and squash as well as the sliced cucumber, tomato and onion salad for starters. Both were good but for $4 I expected a bit more. We ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and poblano corn for me as this is supposedly what they are known for. My wife ordered the chop house steak with sweet potato fries and green beans. My wife’s order came out over cooked and cold so it was sent back and she opted for the chicken salad sandwich hoping that couldn’t get screwed up. As for the chicken fried steak it was overly breaded, the mashed potatoes were bland and the corn, despite the poblano chili wasn’t all that tasty. The best chicken fried steak or chicken has to be the Babe’s family of restaurants. On a positive note they offered complementary dessert.
