Can you have enough bbq places ??? NO !Chattanooga has plenty and most are pretty good in their on right. So today we checked out Edley’s, and boy-o-boy it was one of the absolute best. Five of us chowed done on pork, turkey, fried ribs, chicken wings, and catfish tacos. The cheese grits and cornbread were fantastic. I had a pork plate with the tastiest slaw ever and baked beans cooked and seasoned to perfection. The pork was the very best I’ve had in while. And the banana pudding capped the stack. Whether you live here or you’re visiting, go to the Signal Mill complex, have some great bbq and fixin’s and enjoy the North Shore sites and shops. Hey there, thank you so much for the fantastic review. We are so glad to hear how much you enjoyed your dinner. We hope to see you again soon!

Nooga - Q Smokehouse & Grille

I love BBQ and have tried many in Chattanooga and elsewhere. In terms of value for your money Nooga-Q blows away the completion. I would say that their jumbo pulled pork sandwich has more than 50% more pork than other places in the area. Meat was tasty and juicy. The sauces are flavorful. The decor is simple and the staff is awesome. I recommend their fried green tomatoes if you've never tried them. They give you ranch dressing, but add some of their hot BBQ sauce...yum!!!Tip: They have a drive through, but keep in mind that orders are made as they come, thus if they're busy inside you could be at the window for 15 minutes. It's not fast food.

This was the first time we ate at this restaurant. The Philly brisket portion was small but our chicken club salad was pretty good. The bill was higher than we expected and, unfortunately, didn’t feel we got what we paid for. Wait staff not very knowledgeable about menu nor drink prices.Hey there,Thanks for stopping in, and for letting us know about your concerns. We'll check on the portioning to make sure it wasn't something on our end, and make sure our staff is properly informed. Puckett's Chattanooga

Puckett's serves the best in southern fare daily, breakfast, lunch, and dinner 7 days a week! BBQ pulled pork, ribs, fried chicken, burgers, steaks and more!

This place is mediocre. We ordered chicken fried chicken that came with mashed potatoes and green beans. It truly was cafeteria food, at best and overpriced for both the quality and portion received. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service. Unfortunately, the food does not come close to the hype. You might as well go to Cracker Barrel. Too many better choices to settle for this place.

Finally got a chance to eat at this place that I have heard is so good. The pork wasn’t ready but I tried the meatloaf sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. My colleague had the smoked chicken and it was also very good. Quick, friendly service as well! Can’t wait to come back!

Shuford's Smokehouse

Stand inside for just a few minutes, and you quickly realize that this place is something special. There are no strangers that eat here. Seemingly every patron is a regular, and even newcomers are treated just that way. It's more than smoked meats in here

We were looking for BBQ in Chattanooga, checked on Trip Advisor, and chose Shuford's for proximity and due to the reviews. We were not disappointed.Shuford's meets all the requirements we tend to look for in a good BBQ place. It's pretty plain, sort of a hole-in-the-wall with nothing fancy about it. It's near the railroad tracks. You walk up to the counter to order your food. There's smoke coming out of the building (or nearby). The only thing I'd ask for next time is my sauce on the side. I like to try the meat plain before adding sauce. We had the pulled pork and beef brisket. Both were great. Our sides included onion rings (a small portion -- and so bready the onion slid out of the coating), fried okra (yummy), and slaw (very good). The women who waited on us at the window were very pleasant, and our food came out relatively fast.As I say, I'm just sorry I didn't have room left for the banana pudding. It looked amazing in the huge pan by the kitchen, and I could smell it from the counter. Alas.
