We came here on a Monday night for dinner. The restaurant was extremely quiet, and the staff spaced the guests out so it seemed like no one else was even there. The waiter was very attentive and the food arrived quickly. Appetizers we had asparagus salad and the scallop dish. For the main course we shared a 12 ounce New York strip and got creamed spinach and a loaded baked potato. The banana cream pie for dessert was incredible! We also got a free slice of cake as it was my partners birthday. The one negative I had was that once we had finished the meal the waiter never appeared again to bring us the bill, and then as we were leaving we were made to wait for the bill at the register.

Next door is a Lobster bar and teppanyeki.ENVIRONMENT Steak House Affording maximum comfort, sumptious cuisine and romantic scenery from the 45F, this is probably the highest steakhouse in Kaohsiung. The night views of the city and mountains are awesome and fantastic!The style is luxury, refined, sophisticated, fancy, expensive and authentic. Private functions rooms also available.SERVICEFrom the moment one steps out the elevator on the 45F, a staff of the restaurant level operations will welcome guests and guide them to their respective culinary destinations. The staff at the steakhouse were professional, efficient and polite.FOODDELICIOUS! Just the aroma from the grill sets the stomach juices in full motion, watering our mouths in anticipation of the feast. The steak was juicy, tender and packaged neatly with the prawn and scallop. The juices would blend into each other extruding extra flavor and essence.The salad spread offers high quality greens and the dessert bar looks just as inviting too. Pity could not try them all.SUMMARYHIGH-END, HIGH-SITUATED, STEAK HOUSEâ¦..HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I ended up in this restaurant mostly because I did not see anything else around. This is a large restaurant, very busy, and the menu is fairly diverse. But I found the food uninteresting, lacking in character. It was not a great dining experience, and I am not sure who carries the blame: the chef or the restaurant's philosophy. But, in any case, I would say this restaurant did not live up to its name (although there are surely worse ones!)

Great atmosphere, sizzling sounds, mouthwatering aroma come included with the meal. Reservations recommended, as we visited on a weekday and a que formed quickly outside. The egg noodle and bread buns were a favorite among the kids, while the bottomless cream corn and tomato soups and iced tea was equally well-received.Fillet steak was gobbled up quickly by our little human.Bon appetite!
