We ate here twice, and had very good pizzas with exceptionally light bases from their pizza oven. Proper Italian-style! Pizza oven stays open after the kitchen closes for other dishes at 9pm.

Super excellent meal, everything was delicious: we discovered the Manfrigole and Zigonia (dearmeat roasted on a wood stick) they were just succulent, the Sacher torte was the end of the perfectly cooked meal served by a very nice, efficient and lovely blond lady. We WILL come back!

It was late and snowing on the maloja pass. As a result we decided to make stop at this lovely hotel (albergo since 16th century). We were impressed what the owner (and cook) prepared for dinner, fresh meats (boar and deer) and spatzle (a kind of noggi). The room was charming and at breakfast we enjoyed the fresh baked bread and jams and chutneys with all the flavours and berry's of the alps in the summer. All well prepared and home made. It was a true treat and pleasant surprise. After breakfast it was just one hour by car to st Moritz. Next time we will defenately make a stop here again.dutch family

Situated at the end of the Valmalenco, this recently rinnovatrd, this is one of the best restaurant/hotel of Valtellina.The chef Massimo has a long experience., exkecialli maturatef in St.Moritz.Starting with the appetitaizer, with cotechino on fondues di Porro, pâté di selvaggina and dears carpaccio, you can proceed with long list of ravioli alla selvaggina, di permice, di cioccolato( my preferred) , di pat are, till pappardelle con fungihi, pizzoccheri e manfrigole.For the main corse you must try the capriolo undercut on liver dears pâté .The end with homemade cream ice cream topped with hot forest berry sauce, will bring you to the sense paradise!Clean hotel with 9 warm and very clean rooms, made this place fantastic solution for whom want to enjoy the paradise of Chiareggio, during all the season.In winter due to the high snow precipitation , they are picking you with the snow cat or snow bikes!Don't forget to book in advance as its every time in overbooking!

One of the few places that open during xmas holiday and one of the best place to celebrate for the celebration! very attentive and detailed service and friendly staff which offer authentic italian dishes! really recommend their fish dishes- so fresh that it is nearly like next to zurich lake! if you are in town this restaurant is a must. looking forward to our next visit already.Dear JessieThanks for your comment. Short stay in January.The location is close from bus stop in Sils Maria.5 minutes from Furtschellas cable station.Vogl supermarket within walkable distance.The room is with modern decor, very clean and very good interior.The room size is adequate.There is a small balcony with small table and chairs providing the view of the road.The bathroom is fairly adequate but shower area is a little tiny.On the top floor there is a balcony with seating arrangement to get top view of Sils/just relax with a drink.Breakfast is good although limited spread.Pizza offered in the restaurant is very delicious also evident from many people coming for takeaways.They provide guestCard which provides free access to public transportation in the region which is very useful.Wifi connectivity was very good throughout the stay.The staff is hospitable,friendly and helpful.Will definitely come back next time.

We had just finished hiking up from Maloja and decided to have lunch by the lake. It turned out to be a very pleasant surprise -- one of the better lunches we had while hiking in the area.The terrace of Ristorante Cavloccio overlooked a small beach along the shore of Lake Cavloc. With picnic tables (and very friendly table service!), it was a perfect spot for enjoying a relaxing al fresco lunch.Our mixed salad topped with tuna and local cheese (see photo) was very fresh and tasty -- it was big enough to split between two people -- and the homemade chestnut dessert (see photo) was very delicious.We had to pull ourselves away from the table after enjoying such a good meal in such a peaceful spot (there are no power boats on the lake). We highly recommend Ristorante Cavloccio for a simple yet satisfying lunch.Note: The restaurant does not have a website and is only open from June to October.

Ideally located in the middle of the hike between Maloja and Sils Maria, the terrace offers a magnificent view. There is everything to do well, unfortunately the reception is not friendly, the dishes are expensive and unattractive. A salad in sachet accompanied by vinaigrette in bottle and a goat cheese untasty served without a word or a smile, it is a pity. A glass of elderberry sirup was the best of our meal.

Located in the middle of the lake this place is fully isolated and expose traditional environment however the food is modern and oriented on the product, simply the best!Unusual quality of seafood at almost 2000m and excellent seasonal wild meat. A must!Just behind the place, a small walking way bring you to incredible view over the lake in 20min.
