In the east side of the island of God's, Sea Salt in Alila Manggis is the best of place to fill your hunger. Chef Santika's created the Balinese grilled Spare ribs and perhaps one the best ribs I have ever tasted! Also the sambal Mahta with grilled Tuna is there signature dishes.
Plenty to enjoy at Sea Salt, indeed of of the best place to eat in Bali. A little far from the city but stay there and get the breakfast as well!!

First of all, find the right chair. After a few drinks order a burger and enjoy. I had a full monty Aussie burger and also a double cheeseburger. Great burgers. In comparison, I ate a mini burger slider in the famous Raffles Hotel in Singapore, Gary’s burgers are much better than Raffles’ burgers.

It just couldn't be better having lunch in the rear sunny garden setting with jazz music in the background. Just a bit of a change from what is expected in Bali but it had lots of local flavour plus a wide menu of both local and international food. The setting, decor, food and service were all most pleasing and we will go there again when passing through Candidasa.

We have been to this restaurant in Candidasa 5 times now and it never fails to impress us.
They picked us up from our hotel and returned us after our meal.
The restaurant is clean, well managed, has excellent staff who are friendly and helpful in the true Balinese way.
The food is very good and not expensive.
Thoroughly recommend and we will be back.

This is one of the more popular restaurants in Candidasa. There is plenty of choice on the menu, the staff are helpful and attentive. Prices are on apar with other nearby restaurants. Nice atmosphere.Cook tea thank you for your comments we try to please and hope to see you soon

First Stop on every visit to Candidasa.
Great service and excellent food.
Ewik always provides excellent service.
Menu has not changed for a long time but its still very affordable and with great variety.
Several Set Menus are available and we have tried all previously.All Good.
On our last few visits we have been taken by their Aglio Oglio.
Having run an Italian Restaurant previously we have found this dish excellent.
Not busy on the night we were there due to Volcano I would say which is only 23 kls away.
Would not go to Candidasa without a meal here.
Highly Recommended.

This is an OK place on the main drag going through town. Very open to the road. Long bar, sometimes live music, fair prices The food is OK, just average.

Watergarden has become a regular spot on our annual Candidasa visit. It is central, clean, welcoming, good food and cheap. Nothing is too much trouble. We had Sweet and Sour Pork with veg and rice, and Chicken Tikka Marsala both nicely presented and tasty, good size serves. When I read the dessert menu I was sad there was no black sticky rice on the menu...magic, the waitress asked the chef and out came a lovely bowl of my favourite Balinese dessert. Since we were there last year they have extended and redecorated and it looks fresh and light, but the huge ponds of goldfish are still there, and the friendly staff are still there.
We are going back there for lunch tomorrow - good and cheap.

Our menu offers authentic Balinese food using a traditional Balinese style kitchen, cooking on wood-fired, mud brick stoves, allowing the real flavours of Bali to shine. Most of our ingredients are either grown in our garden, in our neighbour's garden or purchased from the local market The cooking school runs unique classes themed on "a day in the life of..." every class includes an adventure into local areas off the beaten track. Weather it is learning how to plant rice or plough with a cow, fishing in a jukung canoe and cooking on an open fire or making cocktails from cashew nut wine, our students always leave with fond memories and new skills to experiment with when they get home.

We had a wonderful experience gaining a fundamental insight into the ingredients so important for authentic Balinese & Indonesian food. We prepared, cooked & then ate Nasi Goreng..the best ever I’ve had in Asia. Thanks Penny and your wonderful staff for their hospitality. A must do event! At the very least, go and have lunch. You won’t be disappointed.

Family run warung with tasty Balinese and Indonesian dishes. We had chicken curry, chap chay, urupan and chicken satay. Everything was fresh and tasty. We thought we had ordered too much but it was so good we ate it all.
The prices were low and the food was great.
