To my opinion, Tanah Lot and Uluwatu temples are among best sceneries of Bali. Though there are some limitations to see inside the temples, I think one should respect these limitations and enjoy the rest. Before the entrance is there a good market especially for women to buy souvenirs.

It was calming to walk among the coolness of the forest and watch the monkeys who fearlessly approach visitors for food. Glad that they restrict this to bananas, but the clever chaps still go for anything shiny like water bottles and sunscreen tubes! If you observe all the rules of the sanctuary, the monkeys don't bother you at all.

Definitely a MUST GO when you visit Papua. The scenery is breathtakingly beautiful. It takes about two hours from the jetty in Waisai to reach there. After braving the 320+ steps...you will be awarded with this beautiful scenery that will automatically take away all your fatigue.

The Raja Ampat Islands are stunning both above and below the water’s surface.
The Islands have many, many secluded coves and isolated Beaches where you can have a quiet, personal swim, sunbathe, snorkel, bbq, etc. They all remind me of the Thai Islands in the Andaman sea (Phi Phi, Bond, etc.) but better because there are next-to-no tourists.
Underwater you can find the world’s best diving and snorkeling. The reefs come right up to shore and are very very shallow which is great for shore snorkels with kids.
The scuba diving is spectacular. The reefs are vibrant and FULL of fish. The coral appears to be very healthy and supports an incredible diversity of marine life. Both big and small animals can be found in abundance. A short list of “more interesting” things is: pygmy seahorses, ghost pipefish, turtles, multiple kinds of sharks, manta rays, eels, wobegongs, walking sharks, map puffers, porcupines, huge lobsters, giant clams, dolphins, marlins.
Interesting things aside, the most impressive thing is the sheer number of fish. The schools are absolutely massive. I’ve never seen so many fish... ever.
We did a 8 day, 19 dive liveaboard trip with Scuba Froggy (I’ve reviewed them as well). The experience was amazing. The only comparable diving I’ve done has been in Fiji.
I fear with rising ocean temperatures and other factors like pollution and increased tourism, Raja Ampat won’t be this amazing forever.
If you’re considering a dive trip, strongly consider visiting the Raja Ampat Islands and doing it soon while it’s as good as I’ve described.

Mad crazy tides look really scary when you get there but you dive in a sheltered zone behind the rock. There is such an abundance of marine life it's unreal, so many different species and so many of them. Definitely a must to dive when you are here.

Terrible roads to get there but the views are absolutely amazing. Worth the effort though. I climbed down to the beach. Don't try unless you are fit and strong. Very dangerous, slippery, steep and unstable bamboo rails but it was one of the best things I have ever done. When I went there were no waves so swimming was beautiful in crystal clear blue water. Sand beautiful and white. Water, soft drink and Bintang available at the beach. Many tourists at the top viewpoint but only five on the beach. Manta rays were able to be seen from the top view points. Incredible place to visit.

Sekumpul Waterfall is touted as the most beautiful waterfall in Bali. It is fairly close to Niagara Falls Lemukih, only about 2 km away. Understandably, the Village and Village Lemukih Sekumpul indeed neighbors. To see Sekumpul Waterfall close, it takes a bit of effort and struggle. From the parking lot, you have to walk quite far away, down a dirt road, down the hundreds of stairs, and across the river. When you ride a motorcycle, you can still ride from the parking lot (near the ticket window), to the end of the road paving. After paving the way out, the road turned into a narrow dirt road (footpath). Not long down the path, you arrived at a blank bale (gazebo) with Niagara Falls Sekumpul incredible lure.

The falls are far from many other Bali places, but it's so worth going there!
We rented a car without a driver (325000IDR) and drove to falls from Jimbaran.
It took around 3.5 hours, but the scenic views lasted nearly all the times.
In case you come along, without a driver or tour, don't stop at signs Parkir 1 and 2 for Sekumpul Waterfalls. If you do, someone would drive you to a main parking for additional charge.
We went directly to Sekumpul parking, which you find on Google maps.
From there you may take a guide (I recommend to get him unless you've been there and know where to go), the guy will show you around, take you to falls, make pictures of you and help on the way back.
We were very lucky with our guide as well as with the weather - a real tropical thunderstorm in rainforest was one of a kind experience!
Highly recommended!!!!

I stayed at the Kungkungan bay resort and had some excellent guides. You need a good guide in order to actually find a lot of the critters. It is easy to miss something like a frog fish, which blends right in with the seaweed or muck. It is super fun to look around and try to identify things. I even saw some tiny seahorses that were the same color and pattern as this coral they were living on! I definitely recommend it.

first of all please do replace the orangutan profile picture in trip advisory... they are not that scary even though they wild animal.
tips :
1. find the correct boat or klotok considering the budget, comfort and safety. This is very important. type of boat : AC room, full covered boat etc
2. Find the correct tour guide...look at the references and reviewer.
3. can fully staying at boat or you can stay at Hotel resort at river.
4. the tourist peak is between July to Sept.... you will have many tourist friend, avoid those period if you doesnt want crowd.
5.The Orangutan camp, conservation considering to limit the number of tourist. this action to respect the orang utan.
6. The famous local tour guide is the Orangutan tours owned by Mr. Jenie Subaru.
from North pole to South pole , Newyork to tanjungputing... the other places just in between of these 2 attraction..
