The best ice cream cone. Good place to start, seriously though, this restaurant was the friendliest, the lamb shoulder, lamb chops and the Pizzas, oh..and the Burger according to my daughter in law was gorgeous. Drinks are a tad expensive, but great place to sit and enjoy.

Stopped there on the way back from the beach and had the most stunning vegetable paella, fresh from their garden. A little gem of a place with friendly staff and a beautiful setting. Hello if 493BrianT, as you say, a jewel in this area of ââthe island. I spent around one hour reading reviews on TripAdvisor to decide where to eat Paella in Cala Dor as I always try to avoid tourist traps or disappointing experiences. I decided to try Can Trompe and was not disappointed. Their menu was informing the paella was for at least 2 people but the waiter agreed to do a 1.5 paella for me as I was solo. I ordered the blind paella and was satisfied, in fact, it was even too much so they packed the rest for me and I ate for dinner on the following day. It costed around 24 euro plus 2.50 euro for a coke. They also have desserts starting from 5 euro but I was already too full. Have no complaints as waiters have been kind and attentive.

Visited here twice 2 adults and 2 children over our week long holiday to Cala d'Or. Food is absolutely fab. We ordered metre long tapas 19.95 per person and it was very good and gave a lot of choice. Kids ordered pizza and hot dog first night which they enjoyed but 2nd night they just went for tapas to because they enjoyed ours so much. Would definitely recommend.

This family run Tapas restaurant was the best that we went to in our time in Cala d'Or. Really friendly & helpful with superb tapas. We returned a second time & had a wonderful Paella.Oh and the Sangria was the best we had too!
